Annie is a "LeBlanc" kind of char with slightly less nuke but lower CD and cc up way more often! She is kind of fun playing.
Try to get all but one charge on passive, then go in without the ring, pop your shield, q (or R) them and get the stun, pour that combo over then and actually take less damage back because of less minion damage on you and more on the enemy if they do a single aa.
And stun isn't annies only escape, her shiled is gud for that too. Makes her way tanier, so i't gud! =)

nothing to see here people...And I'd say Annie is a safe choice mid, HAVING a power curve that curtails at 45 minutes isn't a horrible thing. Her stun still does the job, and she is meant to KILL the enemy carry, if they're stacking MR someone is trolling. Or if you're one of the dumb people that always attacks tanks, then by all means don't play Annie.

first of all annie is a pubstomper. just putting that out there.
second of all she counters ahri.
third of all posts like this need to stop happening:
annie is countered pretty easily. you can either beat her by abusing her low range and punishing her for aggression (cassio, brand, xerath, ori do this well), or by just asking for jungle ganks because annie players tend to overextend A LOT and therefore are very easy to gank. as annie you are kinda forced to overextend/roam because an annie who doesn't snowball isn't going to carry the game.
and yea, counterbuild burst. abyssal is a viable option on almost every caster, so you can go 2-3 dorans+negatron cloak and be able to withstand the burst.
