I really like the quide. Its very informative and with great coding. However i'd like to state some objections I have.
I feel that when you are supporting as Lux u should start with E as it provides vision and an unmissable slow while snare can miss and result in your ally's death.
Also i suggest you put Shurelya's Battlesong at the support build. I know it doesn't suit Lux at all but it's a must have for the team and i think that the support should get it.
Also add some more informations about supporting as Lux ( I can help at this if you want as I am a support player. ).
Ah! i noticed a spelling mistake too, in the match up section, in LeBlanc's paragraph you wrote Veiger and not Veigar.
Add Syndra too when you can.
Thats all. :) You have my +1!

If you really want to find a replacement for that Doran's Ring, buy a Banshee's Veil if the other teams has alot of AP casters or Abyssal Mask to bring utility to you and your team.

Well, of course not. Think about it. You have the money to buy what you went back to buy. Why sell? Use the extra AP, regen and health to your advantage until you actually HAVE TO sell them. Only sell your doran's if you dont have room for an item or you need the gold to purchase the new item. Otherwise, keep them until you need your next item!

Also, why did you not finish your Athene's? I would probably finish it before the Lich Bane as Bane is, i believe, the most expensive and hard to build item for an AP caster. Just a thought. Try it and let me know how it goes.

At the time, my team was running smoothly so I simply followed thee second build of this guide.

Nowadays, it all depends. If everything is running smoothly, I get Lich.
If it's an equal game or I was not fed, I aim for Athene's or Void Staff.

My recent games had me up against a lot of smart players suddenly pulling Magic Resistance out of their *** so I've been doing the same (I play normal/non-ranked games).

Sometimes I just go straight for Void Staff because I really need the Magic Pen to keep up with the enemy team.

I have a question.

Whenever I recall to buy an item, sometimes I don't need to sell my Doran's Ring to get what I need (I'm following the Doran First build). Should I sell it anyway?

Also, here's my biggest success as Lux with this guide.

Unless your losing really badly, on lux you should not buy triple dorans.

Also, I think you goofed something up on your skill maxing. A skill can be maxed only at lvl 9 :p
