LOL this used to be commonplace from riot a year and a 1/2 ago. Every patch would have about a day of downtime (Renekton patch was my first one i remember waiting through). Im happy enough that they got it to as low as it is now xD

Playing Normal Draft (not yet level 30, so no Ranked, unfortunately), I request to play AD carry, no one objects, so I assume I will be free to play it. Player before me (without communicating with anyone) insta-locks Kog'Maw. Whatever, I'll jungle Rammus. He proceeds to go to lane with just boots, no potions, use Clarity as a summoner spell on an AD carry (because he 'wants to use his ult more'). Over the next 25 minutes, he gets 17 (yes, SEVENTEEN) minion kills, and eeds three kills to the enemy carry. Who gets blamed? Me, because I 'didn't know how to gank'. HOW THE HELL CAN I GANK AS RAMMUS WHEN THE ENEMY IS FED AND YOU CAN'T DEAL ANY DAMAGE? RAMMUS IS UTILITY FFS.

Many times has this happened to me. People request a role in draft, but only know how to play one champion in that role. Examples? Our team first picks Malphite for solo top, but jungler can only use Volibear as a jungling tank. Or someone requests to play solo top, but once the enemy team picks Jax, they 'only have **** champs for top now that jax is gone'. He proceeds to take Annie for solo top.
This is why I hate playing SoloQ Normal Draft. I gotta stick to premade games...
