Mordekaiser is pretty much a bullying presence on the lane. He relies on pushing and using his passive
Iron Man to protect himself from enemy harass. He deals great damage and often uses his ulti Children of the Grave to help your team kill the strongest enemy and bring a ghost of him/her to your team for a little bit of time.
So the idea is basically trying to use E to hit your enemy and enemy minions as often as possible, Q also helps pushing while W is mostly used for defensive purposes. Item builds you should probably check the top guide, although spellvamp is important on him since he casts by using HP

Well, at your level it isn't so relevant I guess. Easily countered means there are champs that have a kit which is good for handling Mordekaiser/ways to counter him (such as an item no lower levels buy called Quicksilver Sash which removes his ulti). But don't worry about it, practice and have fun ;)
