They didn't invent any smart function, it's something pretty obvious. This isn't the first time either, In germany they sued motorolla (not sure if it was really motorolla) for using a slide to unlock.. Apparently apple invented the sliding to unlock as well, even though we've had sliding doors for quite a while.

Apple has always been focused on screwing people over, that's how they make money through selling overpriced ****, that's why everyone, except for deranged fanatics, hates apple.

Apple wins in court against Samsung over the search function in Android 4.0.
It's apparently a patent infringement to use a search function with different algorithms in the phone interface and the internet interface.
Stopping the progress of others instead of spending time on improving your own things.
I wasn't against Apple before, but this is just pure ****ing ********. **** you Apple.
Things like these are what is worst about the copyright and patents.
