Lulu can clear the jungle without a pull with over half health
She can, but a pull is (nearly) always useful, it only provides (minor) problems at a mob reset or exp share.
Thank you for the answers. Luckily for me, Lulu went on sale today, so I'll buy her now and test out my ideas more in practice. So far my only experience is from her last free week and similar builds, on Kayle and Teemo.
I'm not saying Nashor's tooth is a bad idea, just that it fulfills a very different need than Bloodthirster. The cooldown reduction should come in handy, though. How are your experiences so far?
I'm not sure I agree... Whimsy reduces base movement before multipliers by 60. Compare that to Boots of Speed (level 1) at 50 movement and all level 2 boots at 70, so it should help you chase down your opponent.
But no, it provides no damage, so I see how Glitterlance aids your ganks better. I'll have to test out myself to find out what I think.
Regarding 3, I meant that you should build different items based on the need for the game. Not much point buying Randuin's Omen if it's the enemy AP carry who's wrecking everything left and right.
Randuin's Omen is incredibly handy against all kinds of physical dps if you are focused. If you're not, then it's a bit of a waste.
It tends to be a good item when you're already ahead. If your team loses all the team fights, this will not change much. The enemy team will just wait for you to revive and kill you again.
Seriously, you're way off. Yes, it provides sustain, but that's not the main point. It has the most MR of any item in the game. So it's a 3-in-1-item: sustain (no need for lifesteal), huge MR and speed. However, it's fairly expensive, and so I only build it (on other characters) when the enemy has serious magic damage to hurt me with.
I tend to disagree again. Abyssal Scepter's range is 600. Lulu's auto-attack range is 550. Her Help, Pix has a range of 650. So it will always aid your on-hit effects on auto-attacks, and almost always your Help, Pix. It will not very often help Glitterlance, but face it... it is not a huge part of Lulu's damage when she's not building AP.
The second thing I agree with is the range. Since you're building Madred's Bloodrazor, you're a tank buster. Thus, always attack the closest target unless there are several within range. Yes, it is important to take down their carry. However, to get in range to do that, you're also in range of them, and if you've successfully built damage, they will also want to focus you.
This item is best when the enemy AP is scary, since it provides MR as well.
It has some similarities with Randuin's in that it reduces physical dps. However, the aura always affects all enemies regardless of whether they focus you or not, making it a generally better choice when you're not always focused first. The cooldown reduction and mana is also handy.
Are you certain The Bloodthirster provides more damage increase? I expect it to be better for low-armored targets (Heimerdinger who hasn't built armor items, for example). But on mid-to-high armor targets, I expect Zeke's Herald to provide more dps. But the real benefit is that you also buff your AD carry, so combining the two, Zeke's should provide better dps. Also, since it is cheaper, I don't see what you lose.
My pleasure. I am not very experienced myself (merely level 25). So you're not exactly talking to a pro here. In other words, I'm more likely to be wrong than right.

Also, a lot of tanks tend to take this item, something that we are not, and since this item doesn't stack, it doesn't feel like this is really a good item for us to go.

#inexperienced You don't need to be inexperienced to ask the right questions and provide good feedback.

Questions to your guide:
1. Wouldn't Malady be a good idea in combination with Wit's End and Madred's Bloodrazor? They amplify each other's damage by a good amount. Instead of a Phantom Dancer, I mean. It is also cheaper. And since you don't really build much AD, the crit is of some limited use.
2. Why Glitterlance (only better damage and longer-lasting snare, no better CD) first? Why not Whimsy (longer polymorphs, shorter CD) or Help, Pix (better shield, better single-target damage than Whimsy)?
3. Isn't your build way too offensive? Like, use one slot for Guardian Angel, Frozen Heart, Randuin's Omen, Force of Nature or Abyssal Scepter, depending on the needs or the game? Or does your ultimate and shield provide you with enough survivability to offset the need of items?
4. I would guess that Zeke's Herald is better than Bloodthirster. Yes, it provides less life steal, but also some survivability (250 hp), utility, an aura and good synergy with the on-hit items with some extra attack speed. And it's cheaper. After all, your AD isn't very high, so your life steal is mostly to provide sustain, not actually extra survivability in teamfights... I believe? Correct me if I'm wrong.
1. As stated at the start of my guide, the itemization process is a bit out of date in the text bit, I no longer tend to use

Anywayz, ty for your reply and for giving me the chance to elaborate on some topics :D

Anywayz, a new thing I'm trying is running around with Oracle's Elixer to counter the wards, which is super useful because I tend to gank quite a lot. Only problem is the cost on an already item dependent champion.
