Great guide, I can see myself using this advice to further my playing capacity, as well as drifting from my jungle way of life.

I think that full support alistar is better (more on that later)

Why support ali is better (imo):
  • Alistar need to protect his carry so he will not be at the front lines = less dmg taken = no need for tank build.
  • Alistar's ulti makes him tanky enough for the duration of teamfights anyways
  • Tank ali has no aggro :(
  • Everything tank ali can do, support ali can do and more.
  • It all boils down to personal preference so :)

Hi, thanks for the feedback, interesting points you've made there. :) I mainly choose tankyness on Alistar because you can take harass easier, making you more powerfull when initiating on the enemy. Sustain could work out nicely as well, making you able to initiate more times.

In teamfights you could initiate very well on their AD as well if you have tankyness - especially with your ult on. After initiating you obviously need to go back to your AD to protect him/her. But I'll take a look at your guide as well, let's see in depth why you think so. :)

Really good, but remember that you can use our sites BBCoding instead of pasting images. For example your items, you could also write which will even link to the item ^^

Should be fixed now... It could be that I might've forgotten a few since it is a very long guide ^^"

I'm not that good with AD carry unfortunately... :p

Very solid guide, very informative, too.
Only thing I miss is Nidalee, you can support quite well with her, due to her heal/boost and spear harass for zoning, can't you?

The problem with Nidalee is that her spear won't do so much damage anymore and her heals are very mana-hungry. It's more fun to play her as AD Carry with a support like Soraka or Nunu, but you could play her support as well. Her traps are very useful as well. Just place them in the brushes and you'll always see their jungler coming.

You *could* go full AP as 'support' as well, but it's mostly for having a fun time throwing spears all day.

Very nice guide, love how in-depth you talk about every single subject. Maybe you should consider uploading some videos as well, just so we can see how you play. +1!

Very but very nice idea though all support vary in their playstyle as some are more agressive, burst or sustain based I find it hard to sum this up. But, this is a noble attempt and it gives credit to the underappreciated work of support

Great Guide about Supports! However, to improve your guides, look at jhoijhoi's "How to make a guide". Its in one of the top rated guides of all time so it shouldn't be hard to find. I especially liked the part where it showed all the good laning partners. That was something very orginal that I wouldn't have thought of putting into a guide! All in all, good work!

P.S. WHen you let your mouse hover over the icons, nothing pops up like in good guides. Read jhoijhoi's how to make a guide so you will understand on how to do it. good luck making more guides though!
