"I saw [Twilight: Eclipse] in theaters with a girl I was dating at the time. I spent more time staring at my toes and wiggling them than I did watching this abomination. When Edward proposed to Blank Face, I finally looked up with a revelation.
I blurted out loud, in a dead silent theater full of teenage girls on opening night "Wait a minute, Edward has no blood flow. How does he get an erection?" I heard several men laughing, and had several girls turn and stare at me.
I did not get laid that night." - Berengier817

The US elections never fail to provide good laughs around the world and these ones are particularly amusing.
atleast we have elections in America, your boy Jose Manuel Barroso wouldn't know anything about that. But then again perhaps thats because he, like you, comes from portugal, which is pretty much a non-country these days
Thanks for the Signature MissMaw!
^Well, I think we can safely say that USA doesn't have a very good political system.
So there's no need to get all defensive about it.

Lack of choice on big issues. Having just 2 candidates severely limits choice.

Considering some countries have no choice at all and are forced to live with whoever last overthrew or "inherited" their government, I'd personally think the USA while not perfect, (name a country that is), does at least offer "a choice".
I'm not much for politics. Mainly because people, when they talk about their political beliefs, are simply regurgitating whatever nonsense they read/watched from their political distributors. They aren't making an objective opinion based on THEIR personal experiences, it's whatever they're told is happening.
The same can be said from non-nationals commenting from what they've read or seen rather than experienced. As I said they can make educated opinions, but without actually being here, they don't actually know what it's like.
So while you may continue to jest/make fun of/disrespect/praise the US (or any country) without actually living here/there I'd say whatever you have to say is about as accurate and as factual as my report on why dragons are real. (whch isn't very factual at all)
