^Well, I think we can safely say that USA doesn't have a very good political system.
Yup, its not the worst, but still not pretty good. I dont know how it is in other Countrys, but people in germany tend to flame their own politics, while they dont realize they have it kinda decent in their freedom, ofc it also has its flaws. I wanted to go to America for a while, but luckily that changed and i was young&stupid at that point...oh well im still stupid :3

I'm pretty sure Romney ****ed up his chances so hard he has no chance of winning anyway.
Actually, after reading less than 10% of America's inhabitants are Smarts, I kinda lost hope in it anyway.
care to elaborate?
i mean based on every post i've read from you, including your misuse of "smarts" i don't really think you should talk about other people's intelligence

about searz saying there is only 2 choices
say there were 10+ parties (there are countries that have this and these countries are the ones with constant civil wars) well say there are 10 parties and votes are like this
8 parties get 10% of the votes
1 party gets 9%
1 party gets 11%
11% of the country gets what they wanted and now 89% of the country didnt because one party got the most votes even if its only by a little
now 89% of the country is against the government, civil wars break out, now there are 10 parties again and a new election, lather rinse and repeat
now while 51% and 49% seems like a large part of the country isnt getting what they want but in reality there are very few times when the elections were ever that close
on a side note i do wanna say i hate the idea of the electoral college and how someone can win the election because they get more electoral college votes even thought the other guy got the popular vote
for those that dont know what the electoral college is and the popular vote is i highly suggest looking it up because thats a true problem with american politics imo
EDIT: by very few times it was that close i mean by 1%-2% not something like 56% to 44%

the electoral college makes states relevant. No one would bother to campaign in Wyoming or Alaska if the electoral college wasn't in place.

Thanks for the Signature MissMaw!
well of course there will still be things like the HOR and governors to show that states are states, states will still be relevant even without the electoral college
but again thats just my opinion, i feel if 50+% of the country voted for someone but the other guy wins because of the states he won then its less of a "by the people for the people" type thing

Lack of choice on big issues. Having just 2 candidates severely limits choice.
yes, but having more than 2 severely limits efficiency of doing things.
Let me give you an example denmark.
communists won the election with the support of a party that doesn't know **** about what they actually want - only thing they really knew was that bottomline they weren't communists, but supportive to the free market.
Communists now couldn't do anything, because they couldn't support the liberalist opinions of the non commy party and the non communist party didn't support the regulative ideals of the communists. Thus has nothing been done since their election and noone whatsoever has been happy with what has been going on.
2 party democracy: 51% happy, 49% sad.
multi party democracy: worst case 0% happy, 100% sad(or best case 51% happy, 49% sad).
