Countries like Russia and Sweden are trying to increase their population as much as they can, since it's pretty far under the 2.1 kids per family that would keep a population stable.
Anyways, only immigration keeps most areas' population stable, but other than that, the doubling time of the world's population is decreasing and will probably level at about 2050. After that point the population will either stay stable at 9 billion, or decrease slightly. We'll see ^^
I don't think Sweden is doing much of that. The standard is ~2kids and I don't see anyone talking much about it.
Besides: it's good if the world population decreases. There's simply too many humans on the planet already. It could possibly work if we spread out, but I think there's the need for a decrease in population.

Yeah, but not in countries like Sweden. You only have 9 million people, China and India have 1300 million each.
Also, it's still at 140.

In certain areas it may be 2 kids average, but over all of Sweden they are below that mark.

Maybe you don't get rep because you hijack threads and talk about your rep.
Right, because I care about it enough to ask for +Rep. It doesn't even do anything, and there is no point in it. Done here :P

I don't get a lot of +Rep lol
Your statement is invalid.
only because there's a 10 rep limit :P

Cut it out. You're embarssing me as an American, and as a human being. Who do you think has it right, the illiterate desert nomads that wandered around and died at age 20, or the brilliant scientists of today with infinite resources at their fingertips? All your nomads did was suck and die and scribble some stuff about a sky wizard. But, you have modern science to thank for:

Stop using science when it's convenient, and then spit on it and stab it in the back when it conflicts with your views. the awesome thing about science is that it's true if you believe in it or not. If you want to test this, convince yourself that the theory of gravity is 'just a theory' and then jump out a window. Or call germ theory 'hogwash' and drink an ebola sample.
If you want to live in the stone age, put on some deerskin clothes and wander into your nearest forest. Or, you can join us in the 21st century and stop taking your book so literally.
yes people who have religious beliefs are the embarassment to america, not self-entitled pricks like you who "work" for mommy and daddy and get a free pass on everything. How's your 3 hour shift going?
