Hmm, thx, this is helping me, along with palying, I tried him in the jungle too, Like too, his ganks are strong, that true damage melt the target...
I didn't got
Wriggle's Lantern once, and I miss the life steal... So I think I'll always get it: armor and life steal for sustain, damage, ward and low price (self-explained)
Then I get boots -> Merc if 4 or more CC like stun, snare, root, or CC-lockers (
Ashe and
Sejuani) or Ninja Tabi if less than 4 CC like those or 4 hard AD champions....
After this, I have the feeling that I need more attack speed, if I don't buy it, I feel like I'm not doing well, my champion can't damage, etc... The options would be:
Wriggle's Lantern +
Mercury's Treads/
Ninja Tabi
Phage ->
Trinity Force (30%) +
Wit's End (40%) = 70%
Phage ->
Frozen Mallet +
Wit's End = 40% + Perma-slow
and
Atma's Impaler
With the first path: more expansive, attack speed, move speed, critical hits, 150% damage from "sheen" and maybe will slow
With the second: more health and perma-slow, cheaper, giving me around 1k to buy something else...
And what about getting philosopher's stone before
Wriggle's Lantern?

If you just want the lifesteal it would be much more cost effective to just get a Vamp Scepter. Sure the ward is nice but it isn't always effective to build Wriggles, especially against champions like vlad, kennen, or rumble.
You should never "always" build an item unless it's IE on an AD carry or something. Wriggles is not a cheap item, 1600 gold is pretty hefty early game investment.

Thanks for the Signature MissMaw!

The most important thing to remember as a bruiser, is to give your opposition a headache, you want to be dealing out enough damage to worry your opponent, whilst being tanky/annoying enough that you won't go down without a fight, typically if you engage your team should be right behind you, I always consider it a success if the enemy team focus me, it should give my carries adequate time to finish off my opponents whilst they take me down
There's no science to a good engage though, and typically if you're just solo Q'ing communication is the biggest issue, you'll fly in and your team won't notice it until you're brown bread, there's no real solution to this either as even a quick 'GO' in chat can mean the moment has passed, whether or not your engages are poor or your team are not following them up is something I can't really say without seeing you play :)
