With my ap yi build i got 29/5/15
What i build is an early Tear.
Then i get sorcboots.
Then i get mejais (if i see a chance to get fed)
Then i get the deathcap
Then i get the archangels
Then i get the Lichbane
Then i get the hourglass
Afteer that. the game is prob over ^^

Wow alot of people saying AD > AP, well alright I know that rofl... Im just looking for something new, you can't really say it sucks if you havnt tried it :D!
Yes madmack I have tried your build and its going great, however early game is quite lame because, the deathcap is a bit expensive, I also want to look at other options before I say that the build is the best :D..

DFG should be the first item if you really wanna build him AP. Why? Because you only have one damaging spell and it adds a second one.

Dunno why u wuld ap yi if not to 2shot there entire team with alpha strike, for me it is a fun build ^^ if u wanna go all out ranked with it. u prob shuld go with the ap yi veterans ^^

If you want to have fun try a hybrid build on yi basically you get a rageblade, manamune and lichbane get those rageblade stacks to max then alphastrike.
I forgot to add arc angel staff, its a stupid build but you can have fun with it

Of my 1400+ games played I'd guess about 500 of them are on Yi. I have played probably 100 of those as AP. It is extremely fun and you have great staying power but you lack the constant dps. As somebody said earlier it works much better with defined comps. I love playing AP Yi with a Vlad and Alpha Striking on top of Vlad's ult. I have gotten most of my quadra and penta kills on AP Yi but I also have had some extremely frustrating games on him as it's slower getting going and relies more on arlier kills.
I have gone back to playing largely AD Yi again and jungling. I am back to my 20+ kill games and backdooring like a champ!

Well, recently im having horrible solo que luck, my spreadsheets look horrible with all defeats and 1 win, so im just trying different **** out, I enjoy playing AD yi, but i find him to get a bit boring, i wanna own and still have fun, after watching hotshotgg play AP Yi, i really wanna try it out.
Thanks for the items builds, der working well, i just need to get the hang of it, best build so far is PotatisFarfar, really liked that build :P!
