Attacking another player is unacceptable, the circumstances are irrelevant, just don’t do it. This includes calling out another player for leaving, cheating, poor gameplay, etc.
You can report them on the tribunal or send an email instead of telling other people "Hey, report this guy".
They had the right to ban you.
As for the hacker or whatever he was, I don't know if he was banned, and i'm not really sure if you know it either.
Before writing an article about them supporting hacking, did you try to contact them via email/twitter/et cetera, and explain the situation?
