In my previous post I explained my current position on chosing champions and I am starting to narrow it down... and one addition. I have my eye on Kennen because he is just like the play style of Kassadin, who I play "now". I like the idea of a slippery mage that can get in tons of damage and run away with some health to spare if executed correctly and late game kennen can be very useful in teamfights. However I said I didnt like how he was squishy.. So i startedto explore stronger, more physical champions. Then I started to play Pantheon, because he is free this week, and I found him super fun to play (not on the jungle) and he can take more damage that I'm used to which is nice. I like him becauseof his stun and his low difficulty to play. But Pantheon can also fall off late game,so I have heard. Now I am torn between the two. Do I want to keep going mid with a slippery mage and build my runes around AP/kennen, or do I build according to a tankier more physical Pantheon. Please help. :( Any help would be much appriciated

I recently have been playing Kassadin mid and have really liked him. I like how mobile he is and how crazy of a damage output he has late game with the right build, but I have grown a little tired of him and now have ~9000 ip due to my indecisiveness... Here is my list accompanied by their issues i see in them.

Kennen: He has a high damage output and is very mobile, but he is super squishy
Lee Sin: He sounds awesome, but I have heard he is bad late
Nocturne: he doesnt quite fit my play style but I like him alot
Kog'Maw: very squishy and team has to be built around him, but fun to play and has super long range
Graves: He seems like a badass from what I'veseen, worried he will get nerfed
Shaco: i like his play style, but not high output, and my friend said he isnt very good...

I'd say you stick to Kennen. At least he doesn't fall off so hard late game, and if you are suffering in durability build Zhonya's Hourglass , Rylai's Crystal Scepter and Abyssal Mask. Use the zhonyas active in the middle of teamfights with your ult on.

You stop going mid with Kennen and start going top with him and poke poke poke. You disregard phil collins post and don't build rylais second, but 4th.
THEN you begin playing Fizz mid, because he's just like kassadin except with a stronger teamfight pressence and an aoe ulty.

Personally my vote goes to Kennen. Like Polse said, top poke is fun, especially if you get a melee champ to bully out of lane a lot. Plus you have a fairly decent playstyle selection from Kennen, since he can go solo top, AP carry, Ap Mid, AD Bot, and i even seem to remember some off the wall tanky spec in one of the guides, think it was tehasian's guide, but he has since took that out.

And besides, NINJA SQUIRREL, just add a Teemo to your team and you should win by pure awesomeness, need I say more!

Pantheon crushes mid. No doubt about it. You have to make sure that your top lane picks some serious ap damage, though.

Do both man. Having more champs in your arsenal to fill multiple roles at the same time ( Kennen and Pantheon can both do top AND mid, just like Vladimir and Mordekaiser) is a great way to expand on what you can do while making sure your reactions with that champ stay sharp as a knife.
