Thanks for the guide. I have over two hundred games with Jungle Elise. I consider her my best and favorite champion. I completely disagree with everything about your guide - not to say that you're wrong and I'm right - but that is a testament to how complex Elise really is. I've been through about 3 or 4 iterations of what I imagine Elise to be. One of them was similar to this build. Ultimately, I rejected it outright.

The final build I've settled upon I'm about 90% happy with, but it has some flaws. I'll say one thing about playing Elise as jungler - and that is, you can't be constrained by the typical stigma around a jungler getting kills. Elise will constantly get openings to finish that just aren't available to your teammates - and you *have* to take them. Damn your solo queue team if they complain. Carry those fools to the nexus.

I need to make a correction here: They DO benefit from Elise's Armor Penetration. You can find out about that in wiki.

What marks would you suggest then? Magic Penetration?

I always keep Ruby Sightstone. I find that map control outweighs the benefits you'd get from a stronger item, especially because it makes your entire team more effective. In the late game if you can spot an enemy out of position and take him out, it means a major advantage for the next teamfight and can even up winning the game for you. Especially if the enemy you caught out is the AP or AD carry.

If I did sell Sightstone I'd probably repalce it with Liandry's Torment, Shurelya's Reverie, or Runic Bulwark.

(only grading this off jungle ) Only problem I see with this, is she doesnt need attack speed in the jungle, her W gives her enough attack speed to kill the things she needs, and she doesnt need it later in the game either, also, what do you do with the sight stone and other thing late game, cause you can DEF. sell them to get a better item, those are just some of my suggestions

Thanks for the input. I may revise the builds a bit to reflect it.

2. Wouldn't Aegis of the Legion benefit spiderlings just like Banner of Command? Not that I would take it, just saying that the wording is identical. Did you test?

Aegis of the Legion and other aura items do NOT affect minions, only champions. It's kinda bs that they do not say so in the description of the item but that's just the facts...
Riot also stated the following some time ago. If I am mistaken about this then please let me know!

Hey guys,

Aegis not affecting minions was an intended change by the Design team. We missed posting it up in the last set of patch notes. Sorry for that.

We will also be updating the tooltip to reflect this behavior and including this in the next patch (patch after Leona).

We are actively looking at champions who this impacted heavily (ie: Heimerdinger), so please voice any feedback/concerns you have with how this impacts specific champions.

EDIT: The primary reason Design changed Aegis to a champion-only aura was for consistency. This was done to solidify expectations of auras as champion-only effects. The change was not made to address power or balance issues. Those will be solved separately.

Good guide all in all.

- Try letting the auto correct from Word run through your text once, finds alot of silly typos with a small efford ;)
- I don't agree on the Jungle Build but I'll have to play a couple more games with Elise to be able to give you a better one :D I might check back as soon as I've done that.
- Not sure if I agree on the CDR quints... Especially scaling... Elise has great early game power and that's when your ganks happen. I'll have to try out different things there too but have you ever tried movement speed quints? Normally a really good choice on gankers ;)

I loved the section where you measure out her streangths and weaknesses but you might have to work on a build explanation and try out some other items.

All the best with your guide and keep at it!
