As always it's a touchy subject, and when public, can get pretty out of hand.
I would be ok with talking to someone if they are curious about it all, but just spitting on the whole idea deliberately is the worst thing you can do.

Like I said, chances are the people you are friends with have similar "mentalities" to your own, it's not likely you'll be friends with people who are anti-gay, anti-abortion, anti-science, etc.
Also, many oppose things like the evolution theory, for example. Google the dover trials if you don't believe me. Also, having a job is not the same as progressing society and neither is art. If society was filled with nothing but artists and cashiers instead of scientists and engineers then in 1000 years it would be exactly the same.

Finally I meet someone who actually chose their own religion. This is actually the first time I meet someone like you, so I have one simple question. Why did you choose Christianity instead of Judaism or Islam?
No, there's just no proof there is a god and there's plenty of evidence that the bible is almost entirely fiction. And even as a fiction book it's really poorly written, specially the extreme lack of continuity, which makes it very hard for me to believe it is true.
If you had any logical sense you would have found out the truth by now. But hey, why don't you answer the question I asked Mikuroo as well? Why not Islam? Why not Hinduism? Why not Buddhism? Better yet, try to convert me using logical arguments. Show me why there is a god and I'll worship him. I have no problem with worshipping gods as long as they exist.
