If I may add to your list of counters, I would like to post my experiences.

Against akali, it is pretty standard and not too hard until level 6. The problem would be landing a killing combo with the stun/icicle attack due to her circle thing. At level 6, she pushed me around with pretty relative ease due to her constant jumping around with huge range.

Against a Nunu, he could stay in lane forever. I pushed him to recall early game, but after that there was just no way. He got health regen, mana regen, and obivously he eats minions for health. Autoattacking him is pretty straight forward, but if you get too close he can just hit you with the iceball and slow. After playing against him, I realize now a little better how to counter him. toss autos, if I am hit by the slow, just retreat slightly and wait for him to lose interest. Then stun/icicle combo. The issue is, he will just get all of his health back, muuuccchhh faster than I will get enough mana to really kill him. I didn't die against him all the way to level 11, but I never killed him either. DEFINITELY need a gank from somewhere.

Against a pantheon, it is quite near impossible. I won't speak for everyone, but my anivia starts with 420 hp. A good pantheon will simple stun you will you try to farm, jabjabjab, auto, spear, auto. That will get you to the egg. All it takes is one more combo of that and you are out. It requires playing intensely safe until level 6. At 6, he will start jumping about the map. That is when you can farm, and just hope to your deity that panth doesn't feed on your partners.

I hope this was useful.

What is the appeal to building death cap as a last item on bird. I realize that the build is more geared towed late game but the quantity of bonus AP the passive gives with a RoA and an Athenes is just enormous. I think your more prone to shaft yourself with something like a zhonias unless you are really prone to getting caught out of position or getting focused.

Pretty good guide, though I don't get why you take zhonya's before deathcap. Anivia already has her wall and stun to get away, and not moving for 2s on such an immobile champ rarely saves you. Deathcap really improves your damage a lot, so it should be taken before the hourglass. +1 from me (but seriously, deathcaps rule.)

Really nice guide, pretty and easy to follow. Love the borders.

I put your guide to the test in-game and got matched up with a Diana. It was easy to get her low with harass and dodge her skills but I find it really hard to time Anivia's last hits because, like you said, her animation is really slow. So I ended up with hardly any farm but I went 6/2/9, so success!(they surrendered)

Considering I used to just be terrible with Anivia and avoided choosing her, proves your guide is really helpful! Thank you for the wonderful guide.

Castermaster is the best Froggen ever.

You cannot deny. He is a Froggenmaster.

I have been using flat armour seals and mr glyphs per level, does this work? it's been working pretty good for e so far. Or should i trade the mr glyphs for ap per level?

Amazing Guide Overall and well written just a Question where the hell you heard that Kassadin hard counters Anivia? most of the times I see the description of the Match-Up is a Even-Match(Also by my experience)

He can Riftwalk over her Crystallize.
His silence ( Null Sphere) cancels all her abilities and stops Glacial Storm.
His mobility makes it impossible for her to combo him.
Kassadin's follow-up on ganks makes it very dangerous for Anivia.
She cannot retaliate after his combo.
