his range with ult is ******ed, he got his invis and generally you'll pick a lot of peel when playing with a twitch - and you generally don't want to pick him too early I guess.
Not saying he is top tier but he is definitely fine right now

The huge downside to his ult is the fact that people can sidestep it. Even the person he's aiming at.

Hard to really say because I haven't seen Twitch in tournament play. Whether that's because players are perhaps trying to improve their skills with him so they can call him "tournament worthy" on their personal champion pool, or because a majority of the pro circuit don't think he's viable.
Honestly solo queue is not a bench mark of any means. I mean YES you can see what players are doing there, but until you see it in team scrims or actual tournaments you can probably assume that the players aren't "try harding". As far as I know Aphro really just started playing Twitch so he could get people to get him the medieval skin with referrals.
