I also feel him to be very interesting, like a new Amumu. With your pull and box I can think of some nice plays coming up.

Soul Cap was not intended. (:O)

Moreover, he might become somewhat like Skarner and the likes, due to having decent damage output with Iceborn Gauntlet while still being insanely tanky.

Due to his not scaling armor, I would not put him in the jungle. Amumu does it better.

Lastly, the wiki says the drop chance is 20%, but that is pending for test. And to come up with the "normal" armor, he'd need around 80-100 souls.

Whoelse thinks that even with the AP and ifinite stack, his passive is actually more to hold him back instead of furthering his play...?

Instead of just adding sth to an average champ base like those stack abilities used by Sion/Nasus/Veigar, it drags him down early.
It's not that big, but definitely there somehow.

His passive really helps him if he wants to go AD-carry. Otherwise, maybe not so much.

Why would he go ADC? He has no skills to profit off of it, and has a bad range.

On his Q, he can gain up to 200% bonus damage + the number of souls he has and deal that as magic damage to the enemy on a basic attack.

Quoted:

Passive: Thresh's basic attacks deal bonus magic damage on each hit. This value is equal to the total number of souls collected plus a percentage of his attack damage, based on the amount of time since his last attack.

Bonus Magic Damage: Souls + up to 80 / 110 / 140 / 170 / 200% AD

The thing is, what's to stop him from being poked to death by other carries?

He looks to have really bad mobility which would kinda suck for an ADC. Still, gotta just wait and see I guess.

I just see him as a good support for an ADC that with a little help can bait people into his range.
