If you want alternative for Seals I would recommend armor for a bit more defense. MRegen seals only grants you 3.69/5 sec and Master Yi is not your usual mana hungry caster due to his CDs.

+1 Nice job, my only question is why not take 9 points in utility instead of defense for the decreased cooldown on flash and increased time for neutral buffs.

I agree that AD Yi has waaay better sustain.

The reason for playing AP started as "Hey! Why not?" only, it's fun and viable.

AD or AP is merely preference, whatever you feel comfortable with.

Thats pretty good. But I prefer my AD Carry. Why? Its simple. I guarantee you surviving at low health and even if you're fighting against enemy champ. If you have good life steal and phantom dancer then you will recive lots of health to stay alive and with lots of dmg you wil kill the other champ easily. Check out my guide please :)

Dude the coding for items and abilities is actually really nice, why don't you follow a similar format for the rest of the guide???

I agree on the items and masteries, but in runes I honestly believe armor runes and MR seals are just much better. True you hurt more early game but Yi shines early game anyway so why not ensure you survive ganks/minion aggro in lane rather than do more poke damage?

I do like the guide overall, but it could use some more length and organization as mentioned above. I'm not sure if you're still updating, but +1 for now and I'll be checking back to see how it's going!

Lich Bane is a MUST on an AP Master Yi, you're a burst champion with only 1 damaging ability, Alpha Strike, which by itself is not going to net you any kills unless you KS from an ally with Highlander on. having Lich Bane makes your next auto-attack deals an additional 275 damage (with 300 ap), Imagine fighting without Lich Bane:

scene 1 (best case) - KS from an ally using Alpha Strike then wait for another chance and use Alpha Strike again.

scene 2 (worst case) - weren't able to ks, so you'll meditate or hung back and wait for cooldown.

with Lich Bane you can (and should) auto attack after every ability,

Activate Highlander -> Attack -> Alpha Strike -> attack -> activate Wuju Style -> attack -> Meditate -> attack again.

And that's not even taking into account that if you manage to get a kill you can Alpha Strike again in between the aforementioned combo.

Master Yi shouldn't take Lichbane. Spell blade cannot process the double strike and has a long CD for lich bane to be efficient. You should have added more CDR so that it would close in more with lich bane. if your going to have 5 core items, at least give us options for the 6th item slot.
