I know that LoLReplay was updated, but I'm actually waiting for the release of riots own replay tool.

One question: Do you know you're guide is not listed as a full guide?

Mobafire lists a guide as full build just if:
-30 mastery points allocated in each of the champion builds
-18 skill skill points allocated in each of the champion builds
-9 marks, 9 seals, 9 glyphs, and 3 quints in each of the champion builds
-2 summoner spells selected in each of the champion builds
-5,000 typed characters in the "body" of the guide (made up of visible characters to the viewers, or in behind the scenes coding)

I took a short look at your guide and can't find an answer what's missing.
I can just tell your guide is listed as "build only".



P.S. : I like the way you changed the Katarina picture. Seems as if she's shining. ;)

You should expand your guide.. Also, your build lacks MagicPen. Consider taking Void Staff, Liandry's Torment or Abyssal Mask instead of Rylai's Crystal Scepter or Deathfire Grasp. Keep on working on it!

I said either to sell it or not upgrade it at all...
Ill clarify. Gunblade costs 2200 gold after buying your Hextech Revolver. This upgrade gives you 25 more AP, 8% more SpellVamp and 60 AD. Wouldnt it be better to get a Rod + you get closer to a Blasting Wand? That gives you 100 AP if im not wrong, You can still keep your Revolver for the Spell Vamp and your burst is much more. As for its passive, I dont see how many times you will actually need to slow an opposing champion as you get Speed from your W and you have Shunpo. The only way they can get away from you after that is by using flash, resulting in a win for you anyway.

Hextech Gunblade grants only 10 less AP in comparison to the alternative: Will of the Ancients.
The rest the item only grants more, even an extra active!
Of course, it costs a bit more, but it seems much more worth than the alternative for Katarina.

@Guide: Guide is good, bit short, but that can be added later on.
This guide is definately more worth than 50%

I would agree with moon here. Getting a Gunblade is pretty weak on Katarina as even though you do use the AD provided by it, you dont scale with it as well as you do with more AP. As for sustain, Buying a Warmogs Armour gives you a good amount of regen. If you do want to get a Hextech Revolver first tho, it isnt a bad choice due to the early spell vamp but you should either sell it later on for a better weapon or not upgrade it at all. My reasoning behind this is with the 2000 gold upgrade it takes from a Revolver to a Gunblade, you could simply buy alot more defensive items like the mentioned Warmogs or you could even get a Needlessly Large rod which would give you much more damage from your skill than what you would be getting from a Gunblade.

I like to build my Kat like this :-
Abyssal Scepter, Zhonyas Hourglass(The new item builds into this and that item provides AMAZING stats for its price), Sunfire Cape, Warmogs Armour, Sorc / Merc shoes and a Rabadons Deathcap.

Other more effective ways to do that. Quite frankly gunblade and hextech revolver hasn't been used as much since the rework. Building both means you're building for sustain rather than building for all in or tankiness. It's just not that good anymore. I've never thought rylai's was good on her. It makes you more of a utility mage. You get health a decent amount of AP and a slow vs. everything else you could build. Quite frankly I'd rather have Sunfire or Warmog's if I wanted tankiness.

DFG is okay on her, but rarely do find room for it. How often do you expect to be going in on a full hp target? Katarina is a clean up champ and I've never felt that she can get full use out of DFG. Zhonya's is good, but quite frankly I'd rather have Sunfire Cape

Honestly my build would look something like Abyssal Mask, Liandry's Torment, Sunfire Aegis, Sorcerer's Shoes, Rabadon's Deathcap, Warmog's Armor something like that (in no particular order)

i think the build is fine, i mean after dealing half hp with her skill, the "Rylai's Crystal Scepter" gives your enemy slow and the hextehc is not just for dmg, it gives you the option to go to the wolfs or something like them and get your hp back, so you could get back to your lane and get more xp and gold without losing them while recalling... DFG is a good thing because if you are attacking some one with full hp, you use it and not just that he is hitting your enemy for 15% magic damage of his corrent hp it is busting the magic dmg you and all your teamates are doing to the target, zhonyas is good item too because it can save you a lot of times, while some skill is on cool done or something like that and it gives you armor, what helps you to deal with adc, i think that this build is great but i would switch the hextech blade after finishing all this build to voidstaff, thing that in the late game, with all the magic damage that the enemies gain, can boost the dmg you does in 2, so this build is a great build if you know how to play katerina and use item's actives, because it can really help i mean use dfg active than hextech active q for dmg w for speed ult than e w and the target is dead...

Pretty lacking as a guide, the item selection is pretty terrible. Rylai's rush is pretty bad, and hextehc gunblade isnt that good. Even DFG and Zhonyas arent that great of options. none of the item choices are really that good
