Wayne3100's Quest for Platinum (Season 3)

That allowed them to play really aggressively in lane and push us back, which prevented us from going all in. Other lanes started losing too, so we decided to group up, which went a lot better. Our [[Elise]] actually became pretty strong, but in the end some random Blitz grabs won them a couple of teamfights and we lost. The game after I decided to pick [[Caitlyn]] because she's easily my best AD right now and GMD picked [[Lulu]]. We started pushing at level 1 (vs. [[Taric]] - [[Kog'Maw]]) and built up an advantage in terms of farm easily. Although Kog did pick up some random kills on our jungler and one on GMD (who forgot about his passive, oops), I was still way ahead of him and proved to be stronger throughout as we picked up a relatively easy win. Third game we faced a [[Caitlyn]] - [[Nunu]] combo so we went for a [[Draven]] - [[Morgana]] to try and force showdowns in which we would be way stronger, especially when [[Black Shield]]ing [[Nunu]]'s att. speed reduction. Unfortunately, the first time we fought them (when our jungle [[Vi]] came for a gank), things went horribly wrong because their jungler ([[Malphite]]) was around too. Both [[Morgana]] and [[Vi]] died, [[Nunu]] escaped with low health. After that I focused on keeping the farm deficit the same (~10-15 cs). Because I succeeded in doing this and we were able to prevent the enemy Cait from snowballing, I actually became stronger than her once midgame started (just because of our picks) and meanwhile [[Kayle]] mid (vs. [[Akali]]) and [[Irelia]] top (vs. [[Renekton]]) were winning hard so it ended up being a rather onesided win for us. Now #8 in my league and roughly 2 wins away from my promotional series. [color=red][b]LP:[/b][/color] 74[/quote]

He complained about it a bit in champion select, but I managed to convince him things would be ok and they were. Very easy game in the end with all lanes being slightly ahead (mid/top) or winning hard (bot). The other game was today and was honestly just rather annoying. The enemy [[Xin Zhao]] (jungle) had a killing spree within 4 minutes, picking up First Blood before killing our jungler near our red and heading top for the third kill. Two lanes decided right from the start, gg. In bot lane I was laning with [[Nunu]] and we simply pushed [[graves]] - [[Taric]] back to their tower without engaging on them (allowing me to outfarm [[Graves]]), but we eventually just got ganked by their entire team multiple times, as bot lane was the only lane they weren't ahead in yet. [[Graves]] picked up some easy kills to go 5-0 and that was it. Only lost 5 League Points for the game though, lol (I got 13 for the win on the 12[sup]th[/sup] of February). Our bot lane ([[Graves]] - [[Taric]] vs [[Miss Fortune]] - [[Thresh]]) wasn't going too smoothly either, but I got fed in the mid game as the enemy team made tons of positional mistakes. Mid and top had lost so hard that it didn't really matter in the end though, not sure what I could've done better. Sad cuz it cost MissMaw her promotion though :c After having played reasonably well for 3 games but losing them all, I then played a really bad [[Lux]] game but somehow went 2/0/4 and we won anyway. The only thing I think I did really well was pick [[Barrier]] instead of [[Ignite]] as it saved my ass against [[Fizz]] several times and I also baited him with it twice. First game my [[Nunu]] made what looked to be a derpy mistake but turned out to be a way to trick the enemy bot lane into giving me a double kill (though [[Nunu]] did give First Blood to [[Soraka]]), second game me and my [[Taric]] support just completely rolled over their [[Draven]] + [[Janna]] combo. Unfortunately, other lanes weren't doing too hot in our first game and we ended up with only two champions that were dealing damage ([[Fizz]] / [[Caitlyn]]). Not much to say here, I laned mid vs. a [[Nocturne]] (which was supposed to be a [[Katarina]]) and their jungle [[Gangplank]] laned top (where Noct was supposed to be) because Kat disconnected right from the start. [[Gangplank]] then also left after he got killed early so it was a 5v3 after about 5 minutes. Kat did come back in the end (saying "gg Riot" in all chat), but we were already pushing down towers because we figured we'd at least try to end it quickly for them. 27-23 in soloq until now, honestly I would've hoped to hit gold sooner but overall I'm relatively happy about most of my performances.
