[/quote] They're about the same now, initially, but tiger requires items to maintain fast clear speeds, whereas phoenix requires levels. -- The main differences between tiger and phoenix are in the red buff ganks early, and the post-laning utility. You'll have a bit easier time chunking people down with the attack speed buff and burn on tiger, than you will with phoenix. Post laning, however, Phoenix is a stronger wave clear, and can itemize full tank while remaining a useful damage soak and threat. Tiger must itemize some damage to remain a threat, and will lose damage soak potential in doing so.[/quote]
