Some of you misunderstood Christianity :/
@Jhoi
Wether you're an atheist or not, if you are a good person, you will go to heaven. Even if you don't believe in God. Only the bad atheists (or other bad religious people) go to hell like thieves.
@the others
I haven't seen a single Christian who denies the evolution of science, it's not true that Christiany doesn't want any science or logic, or an explanation for God. Maybe the old christianity did, but science will probably never take over religion, because not everything has a logical explanation. Some things are just mysteries for us.
Please do not take my comment offense in any way, i just wanted to explain these things.

Why is it that this entire thing has been pointed at christians in general? Also the whole society
not evolving due to christians picture..I'm sorry, but that's just down right ignorant. Correct me if I am wrong here, but is there not hundreds of other religions out there that are against not only abortion, but other immoral standings as well?
Not to mention this whole conversation has been mostly one sided with the fact that some of the most important questions have been avoided. If you can't answer it then say so because then you atleast are showing acknowledgement to it and don't come off as avoiding it.
I've been here since the begining of this almost and I've read through all of the argument that's been happening. A lot of you say oh I can't believe no one has insulted anyone yet. Truthfully this whole thing is a insult to anyone who seems to have any beliefs of any kind and the non believers just seem to act like it's nothing.

Yes, it seems so. What I meant by the comment was that the quote I mentioned offended me. Of course, one comment does not make a person bad, and I did overreact there, I didn't mean to write the guy off just cause of that one thing. Sorry if I came across as a massive jackass, let me rephrase my opinion:
I was offended by said quote by Ravi Zachariah, which I do not agree with, as it discriminates for no apparent reason. However, since it was out of context, I cannot say he is a worse person because of it.
There, hope this clears things up.
To be fair, I agree with you. On many things, I think Ravi speaks well and clearly, formulates his arguments reasonably and logically.
However, in many things, he is still (comparatively speaking) old-fashioned. In particular, his view on homosexuality, as you mentioned, though he does give a decent defense of his view (as far as a defense against homosexuality goes).

I know a church in Reading (United Kingdom) and a church in London which both preach against evolution.
I petition that this thread be cleared and the title renamed to "Reasons the entire community of MOBAfire should be trying to hit on Mowen"
because this thread bores me now

why not just make a new thread about that and let the people that want to talk about this topic on this thread
Because then my thread would be right next to this one and all the hate would mix in with the stalker plans of my thread. Not good.
On a serious note I do actually wonder why people are actually still talking here as everything everyone is saying is literally either just repeats of a few pages ago or failing at being witty (like me).
