But I also believe that religion is a trigger for conflict(one of MANY). By removing a trigger I believe we'll have less of it, even if the difference is rather small. Our mind's search for explanations. Sometimes a rational conclusion as to why this or that happened is unable to be made, and then the boundaries of our mind stretch out to the irrational. Some of us believe in magic, others in ghosts, a third group of people believes in the power of the human mind, a fourth group believes in god... That doesn't mean we should start bashing each other because i believe this and you believe that. The only way to end this argument would be to start it like this "HEY, lets have an argument as to why god doesn't help, but obviously in the end I'd have to get it my way and you would have to stop believing in everything you used to believe in so i win in the end, even if i have nothing to stabilize my thesis on." Of course, this can be taken the other way around. "HEY, let's have an argument about why god doesn't help, but in the end you need to accept some illogical reason and believe in him, forgetting everything you ever believed in!!" Eh, but getting through to some people is impossible.. "Time is out of joint"[/quote]
