The question you need to be asking yourself when considering Trinity Force on an ADC is whether buying it is the optimal way to increase your damage (because, obviously, you want to deal as much damage as possible as an AD carry). While Trinity Force is a great item to increase the damage of your combo (which is why it works well on certain bruisers), it doesn't give you loads of attack damage or attack speed so you really need to be using that passive often and effective if you want the item to be good on an AD carry. In most cases, Bloodthirster, Infinity Edge and other general AD carry items are much better choices to increase your damage.
So yeah, low cooldowns are a requirement for it to be good on AD. Ashe doesn't have low cooldowns, so.... :P

I wish I was plat buying Trinity Force on Ashe, winning all the games :P Then I could put it in my guide and say "Plat approved yo!", because everyone believes high elo 8D

first and foremost, i know that tri-force on ashe sucks, refer to the 2nd line of my post: bought it in spite - to troll him cuz he didn't wanna tell me what to buy(just like i baited him into death cuz he didn't let me have red-buff).
second, this wasn't on my main. This was at gold elo on my west-smurf. If this had been plat the CS would've been far better by either team and i would've been stomped in the bot-lane(even if i had built properly)

Oh, I thought this was your main account. Buying Trinity on Ashe isn't as funny if you didn't play it in a plat game.
