Look. I use the BBcode for the items and champs. I don't need extra useless 16x16 icons that don't improve the build's explanation. Your suggestions are pointless, because I already did those things. I don't need more sections, because I don't need to discuss more than this. I covered the pertinent information.

I chose some "support items" because they work. They're just items. I use those so-called "support items" on many of my junglers, because they work. Sightstone is a jungler item. Locket of the Iron Solari is a viable jungler item, and it works on many champs to turn them into bruisers. I also explain that, depending on the situation, you can replace the Locket of the Iron Solari with Randuin's Omen which is mostly a tank item, but like I said, it's just an item, and anyone can use it. You see Vayne and other ADCs use it. You see supports getting it for the sheer tankiness. You also get these items if no-one else on your team is getting them, and if they provide a service for the team (usually an AOE buff or AOE debuff).

If your guide isn't pretty and is solely text heavy, then people are less likely to use your guide. If no one reads your guide, then you've failed as a guide writer. The most basic start to guide writing is to take your reader into account. If you fail to consider the audience, then you've failed from the inception of the guide. Since the people that will be able to use Zed aren't really likely to look for a guide to playing him, you won't get many reads in that direction either. Then those players who are fairly new to Zed will be looking for guides, won't be attracted to your guide.

Okay, onto your 'argument'. Zed is first and foremost an assassin. Adding support/bruiser items to him subtracts from his efficiency. His kit just isn't made to disrupt like a bruiser - they're are made to damage. Thus, building Locket of the Iron Solari and Sightstone is counter-productive. If you must take a defensive item, things like Warmog's Armor and Guardian Angel are much more effective. The point of an assassin isn't to support the team in any way. It's to kill and solely kill. Or at least damage.

Actually, you're wrong about Sightstone. It is a jungler item. If you bother watching TheOddOne playing jungle, he picks up Sightstone on many of his junglers. Also, Sightstone is a utility item, so it is necessary to have it, if your team is just dumb and won't ward for you.

Sightstone is only bad on AP carries and AD carries. On those it is too much of an investment, because AP carries and AD carries are required to continue getting damage, otherwise they can't carry properly. AD assassins and bruisers are already so strong that they can sacrifice some damage output to give their team a necessary service. In many of my normal games I have supports who basically are poor as ****. They don't buy the right items, so they don't have any Gold per 10 source of income, so they're always lagging behind in items. Sightstone is a major investment for a support, so when my supports are garbage, they end up never having the money to buy it.

And thank you for proving my point. Firstly, TheOddOne plays support-type jungles the most, which is one of the reasons he takes Sightstone so often. Zed is not a support type by a long shot. In fact, looking at his last 10 games, he doesn't end with a Sightstone once.

Zed, who is EXACTLY like an AP carry, except with AD items, are required to spend as much of their gold as possible on damage items, otherwise he can't carry properly. The only exception in my opinion is Frozen Mallet. Zed can ward his lane with one or two wards costing only 150g each time, as opposed to having to buy a full item. Of course, an early Sightstone isn't unreasonable, but I would not recommend upgrading it into Ruby Sightstone.

Zed CANNOT go bruiser effectively. Building defensive items like Randuin's Omen or Sunfire Aegis do not automatically make him a bruiser or even built like a bruiser.

In addition, your masteries are stupid. Zed is a caster, which means he doesn't benefit from attack speed. You also take nothing in defence despite being an assassin, which is extremely stupid. Proper mastery speccing is 21/9/0

Also, you don't max a skill by level 9, which is a basic thing to do.

No jungle items section. Heck, no jungle section period :S. I don't know how you can call this a part-jungle... build/guide/article when you barely write anything aimed at jungling. In fact, you only mention the jungle 6 times in the whole article and 3 of them are references to when the enemy is a 'jungle Shaco' or 'jungle Jax'.

Going by your cheatsheet, no boots until 3 major items... on one of the best roamers in the game. No mention of the 9 pots/2 wards start. No mention of the fortitude elixir start. No mention of Warmog's Armor or Guardian Angel.

So... for a 'build' for familiar Zed players, it sucks.

Sightstone is one of the cheapest support item, tell me how is it a major investment... For anything else that item is a waste due to unnecessary amount of wards in it and not granting anything else.

PS: Rudeness towards your readers is not recommended :O

You confuse directness with rudeness. I can't honestly tell if my tone seems rude or if you're over-reacting to the directness. When I replied to yours, I was actually quite happy to reply. I wasn't trying to be rude. Now, the first guy who posted, I definitely wanted to gouge his eyes out. I was glad you were trying to help. I was just showing, point by point, why I didn't think your suggestions were valid. I consider my guide very visual. Having random images in the guide doesn't improve how the reader will understand the content. Once you have the BBcoded item, champion, and skill names, the reader accesses visual processing centers anyway. The BBcode stuff is honestly enough of a reminder. I didn't include any sections that really required images. For example, I didn't go over the skill ordering, because it is already at the top.

I've seen alot of other builds write mastery trees as a sequence of images. I can't stand it, myself. I prefer the one that Mobafire provides by default, because it matches what is seen in game.

Actually the content is not enough either, even old school guides (notepadish wall of text, but good in format atleast) had the important chapters and things, this however lacks basic information, so this is more like a build sheet.

And no, JUST NO!!! (yes im holding shift becouse it's more outrageous than caps lock) Sightstone is not and never will be a jungle item, you mistake Wriggle's Lantern with Sightstone. It's purely a support item, end of the line. Locket of the Iron Solari can be a jungle item or a support item, but it only worth it for tank junglers. Locket for off-tank/carry/mid lol you're joking right? And i could point out other really awkward stuff in your guide.

Meiyjhe tried to help you, but you went douche mode... this guide deserves to fail

P.S.: Even old school guides used to have pictures, title/chapter banners, character artwork, dividers, just to make it less tireing for the eyes, and to improve formatting. And trust me i'm around on guide sites since Diablo 2 ver 1.10

Your build items are a bit strange, having 2 support items in them.

Nevertheless, the guide itself can improve a lot aswell.
If you write a guide, make sure all basics are in, including:
- Introduction
- Abilities explanation
- Summoner spell explanation
- Runes explanation
- Masteries explanation
- Item explanation
- Tactics

All of these should have their own chapter for good structure.

Talking about structure, your guide also has a lot of texty walls. You can solve that by using coding.
Not coding like: [[Penguin]]
But coding like: [icon=Penguin size=30]
To make your guide a bit more picturesque :P

You can also use titles, those might also help structuring your guide :D

If you were to follow these tips, it will improve your guide a lot :P
Though, this is your choice to use, I will not punish you or reward you for your decision.

Good luck on your guide :D
