Morellonomicon > Deathfire Grasp in most cases imo. Unless you're running a heavy AP comp, cause the active helps them too, but still. Karma doesn't feel like a "I'm gonna ****ing merc you in two spells and my DFG" kinda mage. Zhonya's is for when you're like getting hardcore focused like mad.
Fair enough; I still don't think Zhonya's is worth it unless yeah, you're getting SERIOUSLY focused. I think the build I've enjoyed the most is Athene's, Mercury Treads, Rylai's, Liandry's, Rabaddon, and Abyssal Sceptor. We'll see as she gets more play though.

You're supposed to use the time during 2) to position so you can actually land the Q, guise.

I still like the old karma :/ I feel the old karma's Heavenly Wave (Idk if there is still tooltip to this no more existence skill) does more damage and higher burst, since current's Q's second blast can be avoided. And I like the shield more, the old one.

^ Someone finally agrees with me.
I've been leveling R > Q > W > E, simply due to the fact I want to do as much damage as possible, and her skillset allows her to be tanky just by building resistances and AP. Also, Mantrad W seems a lot more reliable to fully land than Mantrad Q. Even with that amazing slow, they just walk out of the circle of Q.
1. use W
2. wait ~1 second
3. Use mantra Q
4. Enemy gets rooted
5. Q explodes a second time, dealing TONS OF DAMAGE
