It does work lol... Tanky items just come after that. It's been seen in competitive play, but it is situational. Normal build-wise frozen mallet is just plain weird. Bulwark is good. Sunfire rush is great as well for pushing and tankiness. Trinity, BOTRK if you want damage, sunfire also gives damage, thornmail ehh, warmogs is normal, maw is situational, atmas is just no

^Agree with tehAsian, though I prefer Wit's over BotRK on Shen. It's 1k gold cheaper and gives enough offensive power to make you a damage threat while also giving you a nice source of MR in team fights. Pretty good against those slow-damage AoE comps (Nasus, Renek, Karthus), especially with a Runic Bulwark on the team.

I think BoRK is good on Shen :l

Thornmail is viable too, under some circumstances. And pretty sure Warmogs is always viable.

I thought BORK was ok in team fights for Shen?

Otherwise, Atmas, and Maw arent worth it. Thorn mail is situational, and you need moar Static Shiv for splitpush, or Locket/Spirit Visage for CDR

atma is kinda a nub item, you can get much better items for that cost
