Since S3, wards dominate the game more and more. Wards completly decide games and wards keep the budget of Supports very low, especially with the change to Oracle. I would like to kick wards out of there total OP spot and make them more situational so you use it strategicly and not to mass spam the map.

1. Sight Ward is no longer purchaseable.
This is by far the biggest change here. This limits the amount of wards on the map drastically.

2. Maximum amount of Vision Ward on map is now limited to 2. A player can carry a maximum of 1 Vision Ward at the same time.
This is to prevent people from buying Vision Ward to spam the map, while still offering baron and dragon control or strategic ward destroying.

3. Sightstone changed: Now costs 350 gold, no longer gives HP, maximum amount of items with Sightstone in the name limited on team to 2. Ruby Sightstone now builds out of 2 Ruby Crystal and Sightstone, no change in price.
This item is supposed to be the new item in order to get wards. By limiting the number of Sightstone at the team, no mass ward spam is possible, but strategicly warding is possible.

4. Wriggle's Lantern: No change, if abused, limited to 1.
This item is good as it is, if you want bonus wards, get it, but it is mostly just usefull on junglers. If it sees abuse like 5 Wriggle's Lantern on a team, only 1 should get it, the jungler.


So what this change would do is, that it removes the focus onto wards for non-support champs out of the game. 2 on your team will have Sightstone to provide 4/6 wards to your team, maybe 1 also has Wriggle's Lantern, makin it 5/7. This wards you have to use strategicly in order to cover your objectives, so this adds more strategy into the game. Also, supports will no longer have a super low budget, they can now actually afford some more supportive items. In the end, removing the OPness from wards makes the game a more dangerous, but a more entertaining place. Also, Wriggle's Lantern is definilty back in the game.

4-man lane push has just become way better and probably the only way to not be caught while peacefully farming in lane.

How about ****ING NO!

What does this add to the game? Jack ****, is the answer. Dota has a 6 minute cooldown on wards, which makes some sense. Flat out removing them is just a bad change, and not a welcome one. Maybe in a different MOBA entirely, but League is balanced around the current availability of wards, so this would ruin the game.

I agree with Rudyards here, wards are essential and anyone who thinks differently or wants to limit availability is an idiot. If any of you have seen how bronze games go because only about 6/10 people can ward it's atrocious if your team wards and the enemy team doesn't you pretty much have a free win as long as you have a decent control of your champions and the same goes for if you don't ward but your enemy does it's gg, have you ever tried to push without wards and found a three man gank coming at you? it happens far too often because of the lack of warding so limiting wards will screw the game over completely.

If wards are OP, then buy more of them, not introduce a ******ed change that limits the number you can buy.

Wards allow for map control and bring a good strategic depth to this game. The only thing that's currently wrong with the game, imo, is Oracle's Elixir. It promotes snowballing, denies losing teams almost all vision and it works kinda frustrating. I'd rather have more items like Hextech Sweeper to act as they can "scan" for wards rather than that dumb elixir.

@ GMD I agree oracles usually just makes the team that has it extremely overbearing of the team that doesn't where's the strategy of warding it's just oh I'll but this and screw everything over instead of getting pinks which provide you vision and the same ability to see invisible things, whats the point of oracles if you need to ward anyway to get vision for your team?
