^. Ignite is a very good summoner spell on supports for many lanes. So yeah....

Well excuse me, I don't actually play support myself and it just seemed a bit unusual, but I guess not.

A +rep is always nice, and if I helped you out, do give one (or more) of my guides a read! Feedback is very welcome, and if you liked them give them a vote!

this is kind of odd, I've never seen any of that **** that you mentioned at the beginning (well ok I've seen a couple supports take Ignite), this could be because my MMR was matching me against/with mostly Silver IV and V's (that's changed a bit now that I've been in wood league for a while) but I mean for the most part you get proper team structures. I find the biggest problem BY FAAAAAR in bronze is late game positioning and decision making. People just really like to engage 4 or even 3v5 and people just get caught way the hell out of position all the time. I generally don't see complete BS like ADC Yi or Clarity Sona or anything. He must've had a really ****ty MMR before you showed up. This is pretty funny to read though, and I kinda think your just trolling him :P, because now he's gonna be matched up against high Silvers all the time and probably get destroyed haha. Oh well, at least he'll be happy I guess.

Yeah haha, he'll get destroyed and get matched up with the same players he was playing with before, except this time he'll be silver V rather than bronze III. :P Least he'll feel better about himself and feel more motivated to keep on playing and improving, rather than just cry about bronze players being impossible to carry.

Ignite sucks if your ADC already has ignite, but if your ADC takes barrier / cleanse you can take Ignite as a support for more kill potential.

And his MMR already matches him vs silver players lol. He was still at that stage where you would gain ~23 elo per game rather than ~12, so his MMR just shot up when I started smurfing and won like 10 in a row. He mostly plays against Silver IV and silver III players now. I haven't seen any more super stupid **** like I did at the start. :P

I was pretty much afk'ing on bot lane until MF or Lux came so I could youmuu's + ult from fog of war and kill them both from 20 minutes onwards, and I STILL out-cs'd Mord by 3 CS. :D

The last time I killed MF their Lee said "knew it. every time mf goes to farm bot, 2 seconds later she's not there anymore and I hear 'an ally has been slain'".

Counting that you are good and not a troll your should win more game than you lose , since in your team there can only be a troll in 4 other positions and in the enemy team there can be 5. But this if you take it to infinity, if you don't play much it seems like you only lose.

First things first. I will be the first to admit that the skill level in bronze versus that of other leagues is apparent. Mechanics and overall knowledge of the game are at completely different levels.

However I would like to contend on behalf of myself and any other league players suffering from the plight of AFKs that this is truly where "Elo hell" actually becomes hell. You see, unlike in Silver or Gold, league players in Bronze do not take the game as seriously and competitive as others in these higher divisions. Thus the chances of running into an AFK teammate (who had something else to do randomly) in Bronze is much higher. This AFK detriment that currently resides in the Bronze level system hinders the ability for some League players to be promoted.

For example, in the past 4 days I have played 9 ranked matches. 5 of those matches my team won. In the other 4 I had a teammate go AFK after my team had destroyed an inhibitor or had baron on all 5 members of the team. The frustration, you can imagine, when this happens(especially with the increasing frequency) leads to the most passion filled "oh the throws!!!". Perhaps it has been bad luck. But after over 50 ranked games, 12 AFKs, and being at 99 points a plethora of times, I think I may be finally realizing that my hopes of playing in Silver with better players might not actually happen.

TL,DR: Elo hell may not "exist" but the amount of people who go AFK in "Elo hell" matches is alot higher than in more competitive divisions. 4v5 games don't judge how well someone plays League. Riot needs to punish AFK abusers with a higher punishment and punish teams who lose due to an AFK player less harshly.

That still isn't a valid argument for getting stuck in bronze. Afk's are annoying as hell, but statistically they will happen just as often to you as they will to the enemy team. You will lose to afks, and you will win to afks. In total it should balance itself out. In fact you should win more games than you lose due to afks over a long period of time, because the enemy team has 5 players of which any could go afk, and assuming you're not that kind of person, your team only has 4 people that could go afk.

Aside from that, many bronze players think they're stuck in bronze due to bad luck and afks and think they're actually better than most people in their Elo. If this is true, that makes them one of the best players at their Elo. So why do they keep losing even though they're most probably the best player in the match? It makes no sense for the team with the best player in the match to always lose. I can understand slow climbing. I've been through the pain of climbing extremely slowly. This game is partly based on luck. But not climbing at all, or in fact, falling, and then not being able to get back up to where you were? Maybe even continue falling?

Bronze players ALL think they're stuck because of bad luck. The guy I was smurfing for asked me to duo with his cousin once because he said his cousin was getting bad luck with teams and had got stuck in bronze, but he knew his cousin was better and deserved at least silver. So I duo'd with his cousin, with his cousin jungling, and know what happened? His cousin forgot about the wolves until after they spawned, so he popped his ghost to arrive to the wolves faster.

ONLY IN BRONZE.

And the amount of times I've had people on the enemy team complain about "epic bot / mid lane" because I was winning my lane in this elo is unreal. Every single player I won against blamed the loss on whoever had lost their lane to me. Nothing is ever their fault, they're all great players being held back by the random feeder on their team, which they supposedly get in the majority of their games.

More than once, I killed the enemy mid ~4 times and the enemy jungler ~3 times in total throughout the laning phase, and the jungler flamed their mid on all chat for feeding me. Once when I was bot lane as Draven, I was about to kill their Varus + support, only to get interrupted by a Zac gank which CC'd me and wouldn't let me finish off either of them. I managed to out-play Zac and kill him though, which got me a red buff, and their bot lane were stupid enough to get in my range again and I ended up with a triple kill.

Varus: Epic jungler. Report Zac. ****ed up my lane.

Yes, it was TOTALLY Zac's fault they were both at 200 HP about to die when Zac arrived to gank, and it was TOTALLY his fault Varus and I think it was Nunu, both died straight after even though they'd been safe as soon as Zac jumped in. In truth, Zac got out-played by me, the same way I'd out-played Varus and Nunu. He simply pinned it all on Zac because he was unlucky enough to be the first one to die. Varus blamed Zac for the loss.

And that is the average bronze player. A bad player who blames losses on his equally bad ( not worse ) team-mates.

If a gold 2 player can stomp people at this Elo so hard that he wins 22 games and loses 6 against them, someone who deserves silver but is in bronze should EASILY be able to reach silver within a month or two. There is no such thing as an uncarriable Elo. "Elo hell" is a term made up by people ( not necessarily bronze players ) who are at, or above, their true Elo, but think they deserve to be higher and blame losses on their teams.
