You have three options. You can ignore them by just brushing off what they say or using the mute button, you can talk back to them, or you can quit playing League. They're never going to go away, so you might as well get used to it.

I believe there are more options than that :P

Right, he forgot the "you can get pissed every game and let other people dictate your attitude" option.
That is certainly a fair point my dear
You can afk the game, you can start trolling, you can start reporting every single one of your team.
But the option I was really thinking about:
Doing customs and premade games :P

well the best option is to try to get back on your feet and play the rest of the match much more alert and try to fix what you did wrong, after you start earning kills and winning just type a smiley in your box. nothing is better than saying "IN YOUR FACE MOTHER******, WHO IS THE NOOB NOW" with only one smiley :)
if that didn't work try custom with your friends ^^

Unfortunately for me it's usually too late, the damage is already done :/ Heck, even positive comments sometimes undermine my confidence. Then again, sometimes flaming just makes me play better. Huh.
I have to admit a guilty pleasure of mine. Whenever someone insults me in a language other than English I go troll mode on them. First, I respond reasonably in whatever language it was (French, Spanish, Italian, etc), although simplistically to account for my weak language skills. If it ends there, fine. If not, I gradually make my responses less and less cohesive, degrading both spelling and grammar and typing random drivel (Mon chien a trois jambons). For some reason I find this hilarious. Also, typing the Spongebob Squarepants theme in Portuguese. My friend on Skype got very weirded out because I could not stop laughing. It's the one time I actually like getting flamed.

I guess it saves them from feeling like it is their fault for loosing. I even asked ragers to tell me what to do, and their response is to continue calling me noob and telling me to uninstall. I suppose if i give them the chance to correct my play and they don't take it then that means they are just looking for an excuse for loosing?
I am just really frustrated and trying to understand. Four games in a row I have had people do that. Not always at me either.
