Hmm, interesting. Would you say you disagree with those that advise others to focus on one or two roles or even just one or two champions as much as possible then?
What about main champions, do you have those?
Good luck :)

you can still gain 25~ lp a win at diamond? a lot of threads ive seen have had people stuck in gold or something similar getting like 1-5 points max per win
whats your current w/l in ranked?
W/L doesn't directly have anything to do with your amount of LP won/lost and yes you can still get up to +40 even in Diamond II. It only changes in Diamond I where you can pretty much never get more than 5 points per win.
Hey guys. I went ahead and downscaled my resolution to 720p at default to allow for slower connection speeds. I'm not partnered with Twitch or anything, so I'm unfortunately not able to offer multiples like 360/480 until I can get one.
Twitch actually completely went down last night, but I lost my promotion due to a pretty poor game overall. We basically got completely stomped and never got our foot in the game. Ah, well. Happens.
Stream is going up tonight for the MobaFire inhouses. I'm going to play in one or two of those and then either broadcast some lessons I'm doing or simply solo queue. Either way I'll be getting back into promotions tonight for sure.
@Wayne3100: I come from a background of Dota/HoN where "maining a champion" is weird and frowned upon. Obviously there are exceptions, but as a whole the laning phase is so emphasized that learning the entire roster is definitely in your best interest to ensure that you get as positive an early game as possible.
You're able to get away with that style of play in LoL due to the laning phase not having as much of an impact on the overall flow of the game. You simply aren't punished as harshly for things like poor match-ups and can still get away with wins through team fighting prowess.
My favorites fluctuate from time to time, but right now I play a lot of
Renekton,
Thresh,
Lux, and
Nocturne. It really depends though. I often pick based on match-ups and don't lean too heavily on my preferred choices.
@DillButt64: LP gained is based on your hidden ELO (or MMR) and doesn't really have anything to do with your W/L ratio. Simply put, having a higher MMR will lead to more LP gained whereas having a lower one will result in less. It's meant to put you in the division you belong in and keep players matched against their similar skill level.
@jhoijhoi: Thanks! Feel free to make a request if you'd like any specific champions or roles outlined.
Alrighty then, streams going up in about 30~ minutes. See ya guys!

I'm getting about 25~ lp a win right now and feel like it's just within my grasp. I'm going to be streaming my play any time I'm solo queueing to ensure that I get it done. This thread will be a resource for myself (and you) as I post highlight clips, reflect on games, and finally get the rank I had in sights when I started playing this game last November.
I don't play any role specifically and try to be well versed in every one. All I can promise is that I'll keep you as entertained as I'm able. I've had this weird fire light up in me lately as I've been putting off grinding solo queue a little too much in the past month. Time to change things.
I've got an embed of my stream below for ease of access. Thanks for the interest ahead of time - it's a whole heck of a lot easier to enjoy solo queue when you're entertaining people.
As of this post going up I'll be live in an hour.
