I don't like the
Riven tip. Destroying the Tower early is never bad. You can continue to push on them and put alot of pressure on the map, or if they decide to freeze you punish them by roaming and/or forcing a dragon.
As mentioned by Vyn, be careful what tips you accept, a lot might just be wrong

dont chase for kills
seriously guys dont chase him we should get that turret
guys they respawned you should stop chasing
kay now youre dead
pretty much dont chase for kills when theres only one person left just get turrets and such
also a tip for junglers that ive been seeing in normals and lowish elos, dont force ganks, if people arnt ready for ganks on your team and theyre obviously low, or have their cc on cooldown dont run in and force it itll end badly

There is never a reason to chase. There is always something that would be more productive than chasing. If someone is at low enough health that they can't fight they are effectively dead. Chasing causes bad positioning, losses of objectives, and getting picked. Do it enough and you give the enemy a huge advantage. One kill is 300 gold if they have not died since their last kill. One tower is 150 gold for the whole team, and extra map control. Between the two always go for the tower. Dragon is 190 gold for the whole team. Again. Always go for the objective over the kill.
Late game someone can solo dragon while four people take a tower if only one person is left alive on the enemy team. Instead of chasing him for 300 gold on one person get 340 gold for your entire team, plus map control, or chase someone you'll likely never catch and waste your advantage. As was previously said the winner is the one who messes up the least. When the enemy messes up you have to capitalize on it. Exploit mistakes, abuse bad play. Chasing is the opposite of this. It is allowing the enemy to get off freely for screwing up.
You will never win a game because you decided to chase instead of taking towers, baron, or dragon. But you will most likely lose quite a few for doing so.

Moon: I'll make sure to change the wording. The Riven tip isn't incorrect in detailing the effects of destroying a tower early and allowing the opposition to free farm, but your additions would add clarity to the benefits of taking a tower early. Mainly, I'll make sure that if there is a "positive" and "negative" side of a tip, I'll list both.
Just remember, these tips and tricks are for everyone and even if something you contribute ends up being wrong, incorrect, or doesn't consider something, we all learn from it! Please don't hesitate to share your advice, whether large, small, high elo or low elo :)

Similar to OTG.
League of Legends isn't about counters. It's a myth, designed to thwart people from playing relevant champions.
I'll use my favorite ADC,

However, what you lose early game, is made up in a phenomenal late game. Pick yourself into a counter, and farm it out. You may lose early game, but you'll pull through late game.
Vayne is a really bad example (because she is one of the best, if not the best scaling champ in game), and I can come up with numerous examples in which counterpicks DO matter. Lets take Irelia, if you pick Jax against Irelia, you will be winning both early game and late game (as long as you are at the same level of skill)
Counterpicks can be a really important factor in high-elo gameplay, only at lower ratings (bronze and <lvl30) it is minor because usually people don't know the mechanics - for example, Janna > Leona)

Besides that, I said as well that even high elo players like me can make plenty of mistakes - I've made TONS of mistakes in shot calling in a group of 5 platinum/diamond players for my ranked team and that is why I said I don't really like this initiative because I can easily spot out tons of mistakes/errors/incomplete stuff in this thread.

Sometimes it is, especially in solo queue (because it can cost you a lot of farm/xp and basically it can end up forcing you in a bad position - with your teams not cooperating. I've seen numerous games at any rating in which some lanes prefer to stay passive instead of actively forcing plays around the map - which is what you should be doing after killing a turret)
Must agree, though, that it is usually the best to just take a turret whenever you can. But keep in mind that exceptions apply

Hey Vynertje, the entire point of this thread is to teach low levels / noobs how to play. You seem to be disregarding the general concept of low level play, and enforcing your high level play tactics into it.
It's made for noobs. Teaching them the concepts of high elo before they are ready wouldn't help them. They need to know the tactics for the level that they are it.
I know you have a high understanding of the game, which is why you're high elo, but try not to influence pre-30's in the wrong way.
As for the

So basically you want to help 'bad' players by giving them advice that only applies for a limited amount of levels? Basically you're teaching them the bad example. If you want to learn people something, you have to start off by giving the correct example.
For example, I have been running my mentoring programme for a long time and I noticed that everybody above bronze 3 could handle tips & tricks that I applied to my own gameplay at gold/platinum level. People have the intelligence, they just need to know how some stuff works.
Improving is long-term, and that is why you need to have a look at the long-term as well.
