Hi, im TecEdo and im just about to hit level 30 and start my ranked journey. The reason im posting this is to kinda ask for advice of someone who is really experienced with ranked gameplay. i want to know and learn as much as i can, so i can get as high up as i can on the rank list! so if you have some good advice to mee please reply. anything can help!
also, if you have your own "journey" please post it here!

and im not sure if i should buy and learn new champions to. i know its always a advantage to know more champions. this is the champions that i know
Top: Wukong, Riven, Teemo, Jax, Aatrox
Mid: Ahri, Morgana, should get some more here maybe, give some advice on some champions that you like on this lane and why!
Bot: only know ashe here, but im not so interested in bot lane.
Jungle: Volibear. i really want to know more junglers, really love playing it!

soo yeah thats about it. pls reply if you have something :)

You know Aatrox? Really? How many games have you played? How does he fare against top picks like Elise, Jayce, Kennen, Renekton? What counters him hard? What does he counter?

Seems like you love jungle but play only Volibear. Learn at least a couple more champions before ranked. Udyr has a similar playstyle and honestly does a better job overall.

Mid Ahri is awesome, learn one more and you're good.

No bot lane might hinder your progress, especially if you're left with support and will either dodge or feed.

Top lane seems fine, other than Teemo lol

My advice would be to wait and practice more in normal games before you go to ranked. If you start ranked right when you hit level 30, you will most likely be placed in bronze or maybe silver and will probably stay there for a while.

It's also a good idea to find one or two champions that you're comfortable with in the roles you don't like, then just play them when you have to play that role. You won't get your favorite role every game in soloqueue. Learn a couple ADCs and a couple supports, then play them when you have to in ranked. Having some fallback champions is going to give you a much better chance of winning than playing someone you never play in ranked.
Thanks to Nyoike for the sig!

Hi luizdeh

i have played just about 30 games with him, not really sure why i mentioned him. but he can be really good or really bad. it kinda depends on your early lane game. if you get behind, you are pretty much screwed then. if you get ahead, then you are just awesome! all you need is lifesteal and attack speed. you can honestly do solo baron with him if you got the right items, np!

yeah i have tried udyr a couple of times. he was really strong. another one that i want to try out is lee sin. he looks amazing!

and about bot lane, yeah i know think ill learn a support. what support is good and easy to learn? leona maybe?

and how do you do that image thing. with aatrox, elise and the other champions. there is a picture next to their name and you can see stats when you put the mouse on in. lol...

[[Aatrox]] = Aatrox

Leona is a little tricky because if you're not good with her then you'll be negatively useful to your ADC in laning phase. If you play her decently you can stomp a lot of low elo bot lanes because most people below plat don't know how to deal with her aggression.

You could try Sona, a lot of people find her pretty easy. Soraka's really easy to play compared to other supports but she's not really that strong right now. You could also try your hand at Lulu and Janna as it's pretty easy to be useful with them, though a little challenging to play well. Taric isn't super great right now but he's pretty easy to play.

You just need to spend some time trying out different supports and find the one that works best for you.
Thanks to Jovy for the sig!

Anything else?

thanks!

Runes. I don't know what you have so far but I would say you need runes for every role. at a bare minimum you need Flat AD and MPEN Reds, Armor Yellows, MR Blues, and Flat AD and AP Quints. Other must haves are AS and Armor Reds, Flat Mana Regen Yellows, Scaling MR, flat and scaling AP Blues, and Lifesteal (for ADC), spell vamp (for AP Jungles), Movement, and GP10 Quints (for supports)

Yeah I came down kinda heavy on the Aatrox thing because you really have to know your stuff if you plan on climbing elo. People tend to think they are good on a champion when they don't even know how much damage they put out and how they matchup in whatever lane at critical levels, such as lv6.

Other than that, PsiGuard gives solid advice. Leona is very very good but difficult to get the hang of. Whiffed E's and misplaced ultimates spoil the hard engage and aggessiveness thing. She's hella fun though.

If you're no that interested in a role, such as the duo bot lane you mentioned, stick to whatever is top tier to make your life easier. Don't bother trying out **** like Karma support or something.

Taric is the easiest support out there, Leona is one of the hardest.
Thanks to FatelBlade, JEFFY40HANDS, Nyoike, TheNamelessBard, GrandmasterD, aviseras and koksei for the awesome signatures
