i understand your greedy albeit considerate position, polse.
i think it's up to you, but i don't really see the wron in that. this game requires a lot of information to be played decently (totally ignoring mechanics here), so saying you have a good guide and probably all they need to do is search your name should be fine. people with curiosity will look for it.

During game I'll get people saying, "JHOIJHOI?!", so I don't need to link guides as I get exposure that way (especially if I do really poorly! :P).

But no, I wouldn't ever link my guides after the game unless someone specifically said something along the lines of, "I've never versed a XXX who did that, where did you get the idea?" or, "I'm a new XXX player, want to 1v1 now?".

When I play co-op vs AI with my dad, sometimes I'll tell players about MobaFire if they're building a champion completely wrong.

@Sam completely disagree with you.

My Udyr guide has 1.4 million views.
The vast majority of those views would be search engine bots.

Votes generate %. High % = featured and displayed, which will automatically generate views.

Aim for positive votes and good feedback instead of views (:

@OP

Nope, would never link my guides after a game. It's like saying "oh look at me I did good and this is what I used to stomp".
Same with Jhoi. If people ask 'how do I build ____', I'll always show them to the list of guides of the chamoion that the person asked of.

hmmh yeah i see your point.

but if i get stomped by someone id like to see what runs through their minds. Good guides are hard to find. It's a win-win imo.

The best way for you to analyze what went wrong / how you got destroyed would be to simply watch a replay of the game but in your opponents perspective. Helps me a lot.
Guides aren't suited for high elo players as they're generally "cookie-cutter" builds.

Oh boy, do I agree that good guides are hard to find... just gotta look deep (:

well yeah :D
but some high elo players actually do have guides on their unique playstyles. a few posted their guides in postgame chat after doing really well. Great insight.

I always know why i lose my lane n stuff but seing what their gameplan is helps alot.
cant see that in a replay most of the time.

Problem is that not everybody thinks rationally after a lost game. Some are upset and just mad over their loss. This can result in negative votes for no reason.

It also depends on the quality of the guide you'll be posting.

Make sure the guide has had a lot of work put into it and is the best you could possibly do.
Posting a ****py, 10 minute guide will result in *even more* negative feedback.

You need to log in before commenting.
