personally, I wouldn't use a border that's bigger than maybe 6-8 pixels.
the ones I use for mine are usually 4 pixels, maybe with a second thinner one that's 2.

exampleBtw, what tool/plug-in do you use to make those transparent stripes on some of your sigs? I've noticed that and I want to try it but can't seem to replicate it. I use GIMP btw.
filters > render > pattern > grid
with these settings:
(make sure to put it in a new layer)
set the layer to overlay at 20-40% opacity
EDIT: To get the same effect as mine you'll have to erase the lines from the focal point

I really like it, however, I think that your borders, not only for this sig but a lot of them could be a bit thinner and you could experiment with a border that goes all the way around.

I like the gold diana one best. The text is great but I think diana herself should stand out a bit more.
Also the border on bordered ryze should be smaller imo.
