The reason to take [[Song of Celerity]] at level 4 is for the utility and so you can slow targets with [[power chord]], but that's not required. Your job as [[Sona]] is to poke not heal, that's why extra points in [[Aria of Perseverance]] aren't really very good. Plus the [[Power Chord]] damage debuff [[Aria of Perseverance]] gives is the same regardless of what level the skill is. If you want to heal, play [[Nami]], [[Soraka]], or someone else who has a healing ability that's cost efficient most of the game. If you are forced to level your W more once you get into lane, that's one thing...but it's incredibly rare that you wouldn't just go 4-1-1-1 or 4-2-0-1.[/quote]
