What is this aria? I'm assuming it isn't Hidan no Aria (Aria the Scarlet Ammo) so I'm curious.
Aria is the most peaceful anime in existence.
Here's a synopsis:
Drift peacefully into Neo Venezia, a city on the planet Aqua (formerly known as Mars). By the 24th century, humans have found a way to colonize the previously uninhabitable planet. As futuristic as that sounds, Neo Venezia is still teeming with rustic beauty; gondolas on wide canals and waterways are the main mode of transportation. The city itself is a faithful replication of Manhome’s (the planet formerly known as Earth) Venice.
And here some of the things that a person who really enjoyed this anime said about it:
"The best way to watch the show? Have a shower, have a good meal, get comfortable, and relax..."

If you are going to watch it, do so in this order:
Aria the Animation
Aria the Natural
Aria the Origination
A joint would go really well with the show actually.
Anyway since this isn't what you're in the mood for, I definitely think you should watch Natsume Yuujinchou. The story is pretty solid and it's just something that you will enjoy. It's an anime about bonds and friendship.
In this order:
Natsume Yuujinchou
Zoku Natsume Yuujinchou
Natsume Yuujinchou San
Natsume Yuujinchou Shi

Aria has made my list, unfortunately my school holidays are going to involve getting to silver and watching every sad/feels trip type anime I have and maybe FMA Brotherhood once that is done as I have put it if for far too long.
If I have helped in anyway at all a +rep will be appreciated lots

Thanks to LaCorpse, Hogopogo and JhoiJhoi for the amazing sigs

finished angel beats. prolly a 7/10 from me. had potential in the story but botched it.

the humor was really good though so that keeps it at a 7. and the episode with the tension meter was very funny.
I just finished the anime and I agree completely.

********'s a pretty good fertilizer
the end was ****ing annoying, so ambiguous, I liekd it even with all the plot holes though, anyway Imma go watch anohana now or maybe kanon I heard they are sad and I feel like watching something sad and I can't be bothered watching Clannad again... yet.

I think I've stated this before, but AnoHana is nothing special. Many of the emotional parts of it just completely lack impact..
I've sadly got a feeling that I'm not gonna be especially amazed by Clannad either, but I'll reserve judgment on that til' after I've seen it.
