Issuing one concern with the voting system

The guide ranking system is supposed to sift through the guides and highlight the best ones for readers that don't know the difference or at least want help finding a good guide.[/quote]

After all, your own reputation does relate a lot with how much upvoting your guides get (there are bad guides around here with very good reviewing, for instance), though it's true that not always. I'm not saying that I approve this system, mind you! But this is how it works in most webguide communities.[/quote]
