Overall it seems more like you have this idea, and you really like it and want to prove.
But srsly people tried it over and over in the time Season 3 was going, and none of them found Runaans to be better than any other items in their builds

none of them found any better build for ADC. You are no exception, don't think that it is a new gamebreaking idea, there are millions of LoL players.
Your flat AD build is not good and has less potential than the usual ADC build, and this is not due to us being stuck in the meta, but due to the meta and the item RIOT offering right now.

Yeah, I do like the idea. But it's not like I'm dead set on it being great. I just want proper reasoning and logic behind why it isn't up to snuff. There has been a great deal of bad logic in this thread and I've been greatly annoyed by it.
After my calculations I think the the final piece of the puzzle fell into place.
It seems at least kind of viable. But I will have to agree that a standard ADC build will likely work better in most circumstances.
That does however not make it bad, don't confuse bad with decent, they have completely different meanings.

I also never used PD, but that's just personal preferance.

it doesnt matter if the logic is good or bad it doesnt change the fact that hurricane isnt nearly as good as the other item choices, and theres is nothing more annoying than trying to tell someone something is bad or wrong but they insist its the best option
but at least it only took 10 pages for you to agree that hurricane isnt as good as the standard adc build
also its the "norm" for an adc to have high single damage DPS because its the most optimal thing to do, and because nine times out of ten there is going to be that hypothetical bruiser right in your face during games, its going to happen much more often than 3 hypothetical champions standing close enough to make hurricanes passive worth it

On crit builds, yes. Because as has been highlighted in this thread: they are generally more effective.
On AD builds, no.

Why so? What makes you write that? Because it's the norm among carries?
