I know someone who has the same problem, didn't find a way to fix it tho. Best thing you can do against it is posting it on the Riot forums, play draft pick and/or go full premade team, other than that...

I'm pretty sure it would just be a connection issue with the Riot servers, not some kind of bug in the game.
You could probably work around it by trying characters that can fill 4 different roles on a team like Sejuani or Jarvan etc.

Always stuck with support.
In ranked not so much.
Also means I can't really try out new champs.
Which sucks.

Gots a beast of a machine and 25 - 45 ms ping.
