once you get past laning phase if laning is decent and you didn't feed hard you can stack pretty quick. i mean, i rarely die with nami and lulu after laning phase because they have epic escape/disengage...especially with a mikaels.

When I jungle I just grab elder lizard if I'm building more of a damage based build, so if I have munro top and I'm playing a jungler who can tank or deal AD damage, I'm going to take elder lizard for AD
Basically, the way I see it is:
Elder Lizard = AD damage
Ancient Golem = Tank
Spectral Wraith = AP damage

Main reason?
Cause when you fail a gank, you can hop into the jungle, kill some mobs and still get those 40G. Previously, you just hopped into the jungle to massacre camps to deal with your inability to secure a kill during a gank.
Add to that the very nice sustain on it and it's a win-win item.
I build it on junglers that need that extra damage, like Vi. I'll never build it on Xin Zhao because the Golem fits his build better.
Also, I've been going full AP as Lulu support since the new gold items. When you can 1 vs 1 the ADC and live, it makes the game so much more fun.
