Master Yi is not vulnerable to CC, he has his ultimate which makes him practically immune and his Alpha Strike which can be easily used to avoid incoming CC.

Getting Banshee's Veil because lolkerthus is short-sighted. It's not a must. do you buy it when you have a Soraka on your team? No. Can Alpha Strike dodge Requiem? Yes. Can you use Meditate? Duh, it's 70% damage reduction and heals. I hope you knew that.
It's still situational but not for the situations you stated.

As said before, there's better items to get aside from Last Whisper if the enemy is not building armor, which I feel you should venture in.

Phantom Dancer is viable on him, I suggest you explore that, especially since I'd get that over Youmuu's Ghostblade.

Onto the big mamba, Wriggle's Lantern. I'm going to nitpick at everything here because you really got me going:
First of all, rectify your vocabulary because I don't think 'solemnly' means what you think it means.
Wriggle's Lantern is still cost-inefficient which you haven't talked about how you'd fix any of that aside from selling it in the late-game which proves how Spirit of the Elder Lizard is better simply by remaining useful at that point and still racking in gold on the stray jungles.
Spirit of the Elder Lizard has more sustain for both mana and health. Period. Much better than Wriggle's Lantern trying to be a Doran's Blade.

Wriggle's Lantern gives you insane jungling power? Err... What jungles were you visiting because I have built it and it's still much more inferior to Spirit of the Elder Lizard, unless you have a different idea of jungling power.

And a part that disgusted me:
You seem set on the idea that to make Wriggle's Lantern efficient you have to constantly farm keeping ganking to a minimum.

That's a terrible idea.

As has been stated before Master Yi snowballs off kills, you will not win in sustaining yourself purely off farm. If the enemy has a jungle Kha'Zix you will be destroyed if you have not ganked, and because of your absence your teammates will suffer the same fate.

I know many Bronze ( or even Silver ) players like to believe that a jungle should always be in the jungle so they can get big and strong in safety, and that other lanes aren't their problem, but that's inherently stupid.

Junglers have one of the most, if not most of all, dominant and impacting presence in the game that still scales into the late game. If your presence is minimal, then you are a bad jungler. If Wriggle's Lantern requires your presence to be minimal on a jungler, then it is a bad item. I don't perceive the difficulty in understanding this simple concept.

Especially on Yi who is supposed to gank a lot lest you fall off in power compared to the other jungler.

Though I doubt you will change your mind since apparently my intelligence is 'fake' to you ( that doesn't even make sense ) in what you implied earlier and you are obviously some form of god-king because you are in the hilarious belief that you cannot possibly be wrong.

He fights for the use of Wriggle's Lantern without ever providing a valid point (or any point really ) as to how it defeats our reasons to picking the Spirit Items.

It's clear he only wants praise, and the main reason I bash so hard on this is because I don't want nooblets coming here and taking the items he recommends when they're clearly bad.
I did the same thing when I was new and was roflstomped.
It's a terrible feeling and he doesn't seem to want to comply or even know what he's talking about, which infuriates me more.

Most of the build is just impractical, has no synergy, and is just plain wrong, with the most glaring issue being Wriggle's Lantern which as previously stated is pretty much an outdated item and I wouldn't be surprised if it is removed soon.

Then again, Mejai's Soulstealer is still around, so take that last comment with a grain of salt.

I completely agree, that's all the more reason why I'm interested in his reason as to why he deems it's better than the spirit series. At best he could provide an interesting look on things, if not then he would listen to reason, at worst, well let's not get to it.

Unfortunately he's been nothing but unpleasant and destructive this entire time, and I have already given out explanations and he's made it very clear he won't listen to reason.
The three Spirit Items can cover most situations and, as I said previously, the only real thing Wriggle's Lantern has going for it is the ward, which has been indirectly nerfed by the release of free trinkets which can do it's job better.

I GUESS you can get it for giggles or if you just prefer Sweeping Lens, but everyone else has trinkets too so your Wriggle's Lantern still means nothing.

Its stats are sub-par, it's gold-inefficient, and sets you very back in the long run.
If there were more viable changes to this guide, such as getting Avarice Blade first or anything really, that isn't Wriggle's Lantern then I may reconsider my stance on this.
But it fell at the first hurdle, and the author believes he's so incredibly pro he refuses to even consider it being bad, which is (again) stupid.

Item are situational, I believe. Beside it's a discussion, you bash logic instead of heads here. Not to mention there's no pain in not hearing(I really hope).

I mean I'm sorry, but you could be Diamond I. If you look at me and tell me that Wriggle's Lantern is a better item on Yi than Liz- No, ANY of the Spirit Items, then I'm going to call you stupid.
