Oh so there is something covering her body? I thought she didn't have any.... *looks at quote* eh... sheets. Or are you talking about that shortseries? In that case I now have a reason to finish it xD.
Lol definitely put that in there.

1, Turn off your mind
2. Profit!
And I guess it's better than zombies. Maybe.

Oh, wow I thought you meant Gigantomakhia, heh.
It's funny cuz that description of yours fit both characters.
Also, that "thing" has a name. It's Puck (and he likes to ... :) ). And he is a guy. Source: ~20 volumes in.

Well, the premise of the story is great. It's just that the execution is awful..
I think that I'll go read a chapter or two now and likely drop it after that.

Basically I will spoil about about that Mars thingy:

Edit:
Finished Kyoukai no Kanata.
It actually made me laugh sometimes, tho the story was pretty average and the character devleopement or even depth were pretty... disappointing D:

Whut, I think the plot sounds very interesting. It really needs to be handled well to be any good, but it definitely has great potential.
I have a feeling that it's gonna turn out like Ano Hana though and fly well below expectations (i.e: be a disappointment).
I'd be interested in seeing Lifebaka's opinions on this one :P

I read some Berserk again, suddenly there's more story than killing! Not much more to say yet.
I also watched a few episodes of Oreimo again. On the edge comedy, inside-jokes and fan-service is part of the plot. Against all my expectations it doesn't take place at school. In fact, I don't even think I've seen a school yet.
EDIT: I've reached a great dilemma. Apparently there's a Good End and True End version of episode 12(Yes, I've done my research...). This has led me to believe the following: 1. Suddenly this becomes either a seriously weird anime or they're making fun of eroge games. 2. I'm going to rage here for at least one of the endings. Furthermore I have only time for one version. I guess I'm going to watch the True ending now, because *insert Plato joke here*.
EDIT2: I did some research and I think the Good End version was broadcast first so I'll go with that. Will make our Greek friend happy too.
EDIT3: Obviously I ended up watching both and ruined my sleep time. Let's just say it was a very dark cave. Well-executed though. In one way it was a prank but in the other it was pretty interesting. The real-world footage outro was a nice idea too.
I'm probably just on the edge all the time because I read it's a weird anime. It's nothing spectacular really.
I should get a blog.
The art style of Nagi no Asukara looks familiar but I have no idea why.

From what I've heard and discussed with friends/other forums, it was expected to be around watchable but most of them recommend the show later on. I fall in this category too.
Depends on the individual tho.

Well Berserk beats it for now. I got past the "prequel" you mentioned and it's getting more interesting story-wise. It's way more brutal than I expected. The one thing that is really bugging me so far is the (unspecified) gender of the elf/fairy/thingy. Or perhaps the fact that I'm bugged by it bugs me.
Lol, that's what bothered you? Not the fact that it looks like a little girl with basically just a sheet covering... most of its naked body?
The last chapter is the best one in my opinion, because it plays out much more naturally. Other parts of the manga feel a little like an exposition-dump, where they explain things I really didn't think needed explaining. It is a short series, so that kind of explaining can be forgiven to some degree though.
Edit: Oh god, this is going in my sig:

Well, erm.. I read the prequel (ch 0) and I found it kind of awful..
A lot of the important plot points made zero freaking sense. It felt flat out dumb, really. I'm still gonna try to give it a chapter or two more, but my hopes are very low now :/
