Thinking about it it's really hard to get away from mundo, rito pls nerf
Heal Teleport is the best summoners spells for him now right?
I think you should try Health Regeneration Quintessences...
The way I see it, Mundo needs health more than he needs health regen, due to his passive, but moreso, movement speed quints are godlike for nearly any tank, and are the main way that Mundo escapes and chases and gets around in teamfights. Without MS quints, Mundo loses a lot of his usefulness.

Mundo's E is a very powerful ability, but it relies on your repeatedly auto-attacking, and people may just move away or stun you or slow you, impeding your ability to do so. Leveling both guarantees that your W stays at a managable cost and still deals considerable damage, and allows you to still have good dueling capability with
I was thinking if atma's was a good choice for going ad and ultratanky thanks to its passive.
Atma's used to be useful for Mundo, but as it is, Mundo doesn't build any crit to go with it, and he doesn't get nearly enough health as he used to. AD and crit aren't nearly as reliable as health and magic pen due to the possibility of being disabled. There are much more viable options in the current state of the game. This is mostly due the the massive nerf to Warmog's stacking; Mundo usually ends at about 5000 health if he's really stacking it, around 4600 otherwise, whereas he used to end at almost 7000. If Mundo's going to build a damage item,
I suggest you make an area dedicated entirely to matchups instead of giving the 3 basic starting setups and only a few matchups.
I'm actually going into the Air Force in less than two weeks, so I don't have the time. Even if I did, though, it would take a very, very long time to make matchups for EVERY top and matchups really never go the way a guide says they will anyway. Especially with Mundo, it's usually all about the individual players.
Thanks for your input, everyone! Even if I don't personally agree with some of your points, it means a lot that people at least find my guide good enough to view and reply to!
Hey, your guide was very useful, thanks for taking the time to write it. The only critique I have is that you are using the word "synthesize" when you actually mean "synergize".
Wow, thanks, I always catch myself doing that. Fixing that now. Glad someone brought it up; I hate it.
EDIT: Fixed.
Hey UncleJimbo13
...
Thanks for the comment and criticism. I have edited a few portions of my guide to make more sense with the current state of the game. Your comment reminded me it was a bit out of date.
First off, Mundo's winrate has actually gone up quite a bit since pre-season due to the new defensive masteries, but yes, he is easily countered early game by champions like Darius, Lee Sin, and Riven. I've explained this fact in his Cons. Playing Mundo against champions that counter him is obviously a risk, but he's still a viable champion. Also, in the new season, he's actually still a pretty decent jungler, with the right runes and masteries.
Second off, I tried to make my guide easily readable while still allowing it to detail all the nuances of how Mundo is played, so if it seems like a wall of text that's because it has to be. I'll try and go back and condense sentences here and there, though. Also, I actually have detailed explanations of every item in the guide.
I don't have the time or skill to make a bunch of pictures and videos for every champion I write a guide on, and there's not much I can do to explain tips and tricks for Mundo; he's not a mechanic-based champion.
However, I can put a link to a video I have of a full top-lane game I played as Mundo in season 3. That's about it.
I detailed Top Mundo and Jungle Mundo equally, but lacked a bit on MPen Mundo because it's still Top Mundo.
I updated my runes and masteries for the new jungle, but Top Mundo remains the same because that is indisputably the best way to do it.
EDIT: Updated the entire guide for patch 4.11, meaning the start of Season 4. Accounted for all recent changes and changed certain strategies.
