You can keep your spacing vs his range pretty easily. You can cast Q to interrupt his combo while he Headbutts, resulting in being knocked back without being knocked up.
Annie
The only reason she is a threat is when your adc is too passive and she can threaten stun for free on you the duration of laning. You outrange with E so usually isn't an issue.
Ashe
Annoying for her poke and auto range, but you can poke with E to trade.
Bard
Bard has good damage in his kit, but you outpoke him.
Blitzcrank
Blitz can't walk up to knock you up since you have your Q, so there are no mindgames. Dodge his Pull and you win this matchup.
Brand
Brand has high damage, but dies too easily if he misplays. Your poke is usually goes even if you respect his cds.
Braum
You can just outpoke Braum and he doesn't have a good way to threaten you with his kit. Dodge his Q's and it's freelo.
Galio
Galios all-in with knockup and taunt along with his tankiness heavily favors him. He has strong damage with Q. The only saving grace is his range of engage is roughly that of your poke. You can fear and silence him if he misses his knockup to prevent his taunt.
Janna
Janna prevents your poke while out-trading you with her W spam. You can catch her with Q if your ADC is in a position to engage.
Karma
The AOE from Karma just outpokes you and outranges you. Her kit just counters Fiddle support. You can still play this lane somewhat safe and get out ok.
Leona
Heavy CC Engage is the hardest thing to deal with as Fiddlesticks. If she lands on you, you're blowing sums or die.
Lulu
She outpokes you and sustains her adc against your poke. Over trades, it favors her.
Lux
Her AOE is easy to hit and she outranges you. Her Q can be devastating against a Fiddlesticks. She generally outperforms you in lane.
Malphite
Mostly an annoyance with his Q spam.
Maokai
He can deny bushes, which is what you do. His engage range isn't the best, but the amount of zoning he creates naturally counters Fiddlesticks.
Miss Fortune
She outranges you, but is punished easily and offers little protection to her adc.
Morgana
A good morgana & adc will destroy you with Black Sheild. If you get hit with Q you are most likely burning a summoner or die as well. Fiddlesticks hardest mage matchup.
Nami
Nami out-trades Fiddlesticks in poke and sustains her adc better. If you get bubbled you most likely burn a summoner.
Nautilus
Very easy for Nautilus to engage on you and lockdown either you or your ADC. He has more CC than you do and outranges you with his hook. Limits your options heavily in laning.
Neeko
Poke vs poke, not a problem usually.
Pantheon
Naturally counters you, play around your range and you'll be fine. Q him if he jumps for you or your adc
Poppy
Limited range means you can do what you want. While she is not a threat to you, you aren't really a threat to her though.
Pyke
Your Fear and Silence mess him up too much for him to operate. Fiddlesticks is the anti-assassin.
Rakan
Although Rakan can decide when to engage, your sustained poke and disengage is usually too much for him to handle.
Rammus
Fear and Silence make him useless.
Rell
Rell's engage options and CC are too strong for you. Respect her engage and only poke when absolutely safe.
Senna
Largely depends on the skill of the Senna. Could go either way.
Seraphine
Her heals vs your poke, but doesn't really pose a threat until 6.
Sett
He runs at you, you silence slow or fear him. If he gets you, you're in trouble.
Shaco
Shaco does games, you outrange him with poke, mess up his engage with Q, your W tether can provide true sight to counter his stealth and you can "see" when he is near with your W as well.
Shen
His cds are too long to be a threat, too risky for him to play against you aggressively.
Sion
Your Q and E disrupt his charged knockup. Not a threat until 6.
Sona
Pretty boring lane.
Soraka
Pretty boring lane, you dodge her Q's and you win through poke. She poses no aggressive threat to you.
Swain
Could go either way, you win if you dodge his snare.
Tahm Kench
Can't operate with your Q and E available.
Taliyah
A little annoying, could go either way.
Taric
Doesn't have the range to deal with you.
Thresh
Depends on how good the Thresh is. Most of the times you outrange him. Skill requirement is on his end.
Veigar
You out-trade him early and can kill him too easily.
Vel'Koz
Very squishy. A few decent E's and he's screwed. You can also interrupt his R easily with E.
Xerath
You don't have the range to get him during laning, but if he's trading W's and E's at you then you can trade back with your E.
Yuumi
Yuumi sort of auto-wins lane, but you can abuse her when she unmounts to proc her passive. If you get your Q or E off you can mess her up badly with her remount and focus her. Tell your adc to fight yuumi when she goes to auto you and you win. Smart Yuumi's don't let you and the lane is passive with her poke eventually winning out.
Zilean
A little annoying with his bombs, hilarious when his adc is about to die but you've feared / silenced him to prevent his R.
Zyra
She outranges you but if you play like her from a distance she doesn't threaten you much.
Akshan
Akshan's presence as an adc is fairly low, so your already low presence will be amplified. You'll most likely be shoved into tower constantly with no engage until 6.
Aphelios
Not the end of the world, You have to play around his guns, but the Graviton lockdown helps you get things set up for a quick trade or potential kill.
Ashe
Fantastic range, poke pressure for the early game to punish with your E spam. Great engage potential to set up the lane post 6.
Caitlyn
Strong poke pressure for the early game, good adc to 1v2 and allow you to safely play your game.
Corki
Not a great adc to play around, lack of cc and low range until 6 hinders the lane greatly.
Draven
Draven is a strong early game champion, but fiddle has low engage potential without being punished. Could go either way.
Ezreal
Great if you're looking for poke priority, as well as an adc who can safely 1v2 while you pursue roams.
Jhin
Easy follow up with his W root on your E spam. You can follow up the root with a Q and potentially burn sums.
Jinx
Jinx is difficult to play around early game, but has decent pressure with rockets. Great if you're looking to hug your adc later on instead of diving with R.
Kai'Sa
Strong pressure when she hits 6, decent lane control. Hurts when behind.
Kalista
If you get a Kalista, make sure she binds with someone else, since her R can disrupt your channels / waste time if you are already in R. No lane synergy either.
Lucian
Lucian is strong early anyways, but it's hard to secure a lead with fiddle early on him due to his lack of cc paired with fiddles short range engage. There are many lanes where this is punished heavily.
Miss Fortune
Fairly strong in lane, decent poke and a fantastic all in. Has no self-peel, so be careful.
Samira
Strong engages and can heavily punish the enemy if they step into your Q range, has some self peel with her W so it offers you a few different options to be aggressive.
Senna
Can offer a snare, which has potential to set you up post 6, takes time to scale, so the laning phase is pretty rough.
Sivir
Sivir's ability to self-peel and poke / shove lane is great, lets you do whatever you like in lane. Her spellshield also allows you to play fairly aggro.
Swain
High CC and zone control combination. Lane feels very easy as either of you can engage / catch and the other can layer on cc and damage easily. You become gods together post 6.
Twitch
Feels like you're playing 2 different games. Twitch needs an enchanter or a tanky engage.
Varus
Great poke in lane, but working around his cooldowns means you have to provide presence, which is difficult for Fiddle to offer in early game.
Vayne
Another short range lane that takes time to scale on top of that. If you can manage to secure early pressure it's not bad, but highly situational. You have to have the ability to 1v2 the lane early.
Ziggs
Not bad if you want to just go even. Very weak in early levels, but if you play for waveclear only it's not bad. Avoid this if they have a Nautilus / Leona though.

A little about myself:
I have mained Fiddlesticks support since Season 8 in the pre-rework era. I hit Diamond for the first time with him so I've stuck with him ever since.
Why Fiddlesticks Support?:
His anti-carry lockdown and simplistic kit is exactly what I love in a champion. With a big F-U button to enemy hypercarries, the silence to interrupt the flow of the enemy team, and the raw damage on Crowstorm to 1v9 a teamfight. What more could you ask for?!
Fiddlesticks strengths:
- High CC
- High Anti-Carry
- High Vision Control
- Great Teamfight
Fiddlesticks weaknesses:
- Low lane presence
- Short range
- Lack of bush control (effigies are useless for lane control)
- Low all-in pre-6
The Golden Rules:
1. Don't deviate from the guide for min/max & buildpath
2. Mute players, do NOT mute their pings unless they rage spam ping.
3. Play for KDA in skirmishes / picks.
4. Play for team during teamfights.
5. Always have a pink in inventory.
6. Always have 2+ pinks in inventory when objective is to be contested.
