First off, I love the coding for this. It's so elegant but so simple and not overloaded with information which gives it a really nice vibe. How would you decide when to roam with without losing too much exp or giving up the lane when you have a weak early game adc?

good roaming times are:
When your ADC is not in lane.
When the enemy team is not in lane.
When your ADC can farm from afar and safely.
Roaming straight from base once you've recalled.
When the enemy has 0 kill threat on your ADC.

Do not roam if your ADC is in lane if:
The enemy has strong all-in and can kill your ADC (like Leona/thresh/alistar/naut)
Your ADC is going to die if you're gone (especially if they have a shutdown).
***HOWEVER*** If you ADC is very behind and keeps dying, it's better to playing roaming Janna.

Good times to roam are defo from base or when there isn't a cannon minion in lane. You will lose the least amount of XP during these times, but just make sure you can get something done by roaming- if you can't, don't bother just stay in lane.

Roaming's really hard to talk about and there are tons of different scenarios when you can and cant roam, but I hope that list helped abit.

are boots of swiftness ever an option? my thinking behind it is in drawn-out fights, mobi's provide less movement speed than swiftness boots, meaning less damage from her passive. swiftness is also cheaper and still allows for roaming potential

It is definitely a possibility, especially against champions with AOE damage. If you're up against someone like Morgana, Anivia etc etc, you can use them instead.

This is an absolutely fantastic, in-depth guide. Probably the only criticism I could give is that it would be nice to have little blurbs (even if they're copy/pasted from the actual section) in the matchups part of the guide summary.

woah, this is uses some really simple coding yet it makes it look really nice, I like it! The information is also incredibly impressive, great resource for newer players. I especially love the way you did the matchups, really clever idea!
