Really no counter play besides getting a gank. Avoid his level all in, farm well, ping MIA and scale.
Tryndamere
If you run into this in the mid lane, you really cant do much but rush healing reduction, rush Rylai's, and bring exhaust. Even if you used Emperor's Divide to push him away he will find a way to get on top of you. It's not a fun match up and is impossible to solo kill once he hits 6.
Ekko
Personally a matchup that I find very difficult because it is basically impossible to kill him if he's smart and waits to 6 before fighting. To play against Ekko you must punish him as much as you can from level's 1-5. If possible ask for ganks or try to find solo kill opportunities because once he's 6 he's basically invincible unless you have a lead.
Diana
Diana is a very difficult matchup due to her nature of being very tanky while building full damage items but, is not impossible to kill. If possible you need to wait for her to engage onto you, preferably when no allied minions are near by so she cannot dash out of tower range. Then you must simply dash out of her dash range. Although what I said is confusing if you don't give her a way to dash onto a target she cannot escape while under your tower. Another way to counter Diana is to buy Zhonya's Hourglass, this is because if you can use Stasis against her Ultimate, she will lose a majority of her damage resulting is a better chance of beating her in a fight.
LeBlanc
Laning phase is pretty safe if you go resolve secondary, and Leblanc is not much of a threat if she is unable to get a lead. She will be able to kill the ADC if the match up is even, which is why the matchup is somewhat difficult. Following a Leblanc roam is very scary without proper vision, so it is recommended that you put a ward in lane to see where she roams and to just ping your laners to care. Focus on punishing her during the roams.
Rell
Rell's engages allow for all enemies to stay forced into beiing attacked by Azir soldiers until either they're dead or low enough for Azir to engage with the Shurima Shuffle.
Veigar
If champion without a blink gets caged by Veigar they will most like get shuffled into the stun and die, while also giving Veigar free AP, win-win scenario.
Leona
Not as strong as Rell since, Leona is not capable of corralling enemies together, but because she can chain CC and frontline, it allows Azir to constantly attack the opponents.
Seraphine
Able to corral enemies together the only reason Seraphine isn't Ideal is because her ult range is so long that the opponents have a high chance of not being close enough to each other for Azir to have maximum impact when it comes to Damage.
Malphite
Just like Leona, Malphite is unable to corral enemies , but allows Azir to position a good Emperor's Divide.
