Draven is a very strong laner, and forces focus onto himself, this allows you to freely cast your heals, shields, and stuns. If they chose to focus Taric, they will be met with a hefty amount of damage and will likely both die or burn SS for possibly your life which is worth especially if Draven gets any kill gold/adoration.

They can look to dash forward and hit your E. Nilahs passive spits some of your heals and shields back at you making this a very strong lane.
